System Components SHERLOCK COLOURS Complete range of water based colours for repair coating. THINNER Diluting agent for SHERLOCK colours. THICKENER Thickener for SHERLOCK colours turns any Sherlock colour into a leather filler. PRE-BOTTOM W Water based Pre-bottom with high sealing effect. CLEANER Water-based cleaner. TOP GLOSS Water based gloss topcoat. TOP MATT Water based matt topcoat. HARDENER TA Water soluble cross-linker. SHERLOCK READER Colour sensor for colour matching through our SHERLOCK database. SCALE Scale for exact dosing of chemicals. Using the System 1. CLEAN Wipe with CLEANER and remove with a clean cloth. Treatment can be repeated if necessary. 2. PRE-BOTTOM In cases of deep damage or highly absorbent surfaces, apply PRE-BOTTOM W with a cloth to avoid hardening of the leather and to improve adhesion. 3. COAT Read the colour with SHERLOCK SENSOR and look for similar colours through our online database. Mix SHERLOCK colours as suggested and fine tune the formula to match the exact colour. Apply the colour mix with cloth, then add 5-10% of THINNER and spray several coats until the coverage is uniform. Always dry between coats. The colour can also be used as a filler when thickened with 2-5% of THICKENER; in this case apply the colour mix with a spatula. 4. TOPCOAT Use TOP GLOSS, TOP MATT or a mix of both to match the required sheen. For optimum adhesion, add 2-5% of HARDENER TA to the topcoat and spray two layers on to the repaired area. 2
