1 Page 1 Apple SIG Meeting January 4 Managing Photos on Mac Add pictures and videos to albums in Photos for OS X 1 Launch Photos on your Mac. 2 Click on the Albums tab in the top navigation. 3 Click on All Photos. 4 Select the photos you'd like to be in your album, new or old. You can hold down the command key on your Mac's keyboard to select multiple photos at once. 5 Click on the add button in the top navigation, it looks like a plus sign. 6 Click on Album. 7 In the popup menu, you can either create a new album and name it or select an existing album. 8 Make your selection and click OK to confirm. Can make New Album, name it and add photos later. To rearrange the order of albums in the sidebar, simply grab them and drag them up or down into whatever position you wish. Organize albums and folders in Photos for OS X If you find that you've accumulated a lot of albums on your Mac, you can organize them into folders. 1 Launch the Photos app on your Mac. 2 Click on the Albums tab in the top navigation. 3 Right click anywhere in the main window and select New Folder. 4 Give your folder a name. 5 Drag any albums you'd like in that folder inside of it.

It really is all your pictures and videos on all your devices. What's more, icloud Photo Library will propagate the "favorite" status of your pictures and videos. Any adjustments are stored separately from the picture and video itself but synced along with it, so if your brighten or saturate or crop a photo on your ipad, those changes will also show up on your iphone or Mac. If you trim a video on your Mac, it'll trim on your iphone or ipad. 4 Page 4 2 Tap on Albums in the far-right bottom navigation (if you aren't there already). 3 Tap on the Add button (looks like a "+") in the upper left hand corner. 4 Name the new album 5 Tap Save. 6 Tap on all the photos or videos you'd like to add to that album. 7 Tap on Done in the upper right hand corner. 8 Your new album will now appear in the Albums tab. How to add photos and videos to existing albums with the Photos app for iphone and ipad 1 Launch the Photos app from your home screen. 2 Tap an album to view its contents. 3 Tap Select at the top rig 4 Tap on all the photos or videos you'd like to add. 5 Tap on Add to at the bottom. 6 Tap the album you want to add the photos or videos to, or choose New Album to create a new album. How To See Where You Took Your Photos At On Your iphone First of all, you ll need to turn on Location services for your Camera to allow your iphone to save that data along with your photos. Tap into Settings, and then tap on Privacy. Next, tap on Location Services and make sure they are on. If they are already on, swipe down to the Camera app icon and toggle that switch to ON as well. Now when you take photos the location data will save along with them. Tap into your Photos app, and navigate to the Years, Collections, or Moments views. You ll see a heading above each section with where those photos were taken. Tap on the location header, and all the pictures from that section will appear on a map. How to Forward Photos in Messages to Another Contact from iphone Open Messages app and go to message thread with photo. Tap and hold on photo. Choose More at the pop-up menu. Photo selected has checkbox next to it. Choose arrow to forward the message. Enter recipient in new Message window to forward photo, attach message, send.
