1 Spring 2019 Surplus Item Auction The Highlands Ranch Metro District is holding an auction of surplus items. This auction is held twice a year during the spring and fall. Submit the attached bid form (on Page 14) in a sealed envelope to: Highlands Ranch Metro District Attn: Equipment Auction 62 W. Plaza Drive Highlands Ranch, CO Bids will be accepted starting March 11, 2019 Bids must be received by 5 p.m. on March 22, 2019 The highest bidder will be notified Monday, March 25 and given 3 business days to pay for and pick up items (no delivery) There will be no public preview of items Bids are accepted in whole dollar increments (Example: $20, not $20.05) Cash is the only form of payment accepted Questions? In the event of multiple bids with the same dollar amount, a random lottery will determine the bid winner. If items are not paid for and picked up within 3 business days of being notified, the next highest bidder will be contacted. There will be no delivery of auction items, and bid winner must be able to load items themselves. Appointments will be required for item payment and pickup. These appointments will be available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. 1
