St. Catharines Art Association Art Lovers Show & Sale 2017 Hernder Estate Winery, 1607 Eighth Ave Louth, St. Catharines, On Show: Thursday, Feb. 9 to Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017 from 10am to 5 pm, : Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 doors open 6:30pm CONDITIONS OF ENTRY This non-juried group exhibition is open to all current SCAA members (in good standing) only. Since each of the three options has limited space, we can only accept paid and complete entries on a first come, first served basis. All works must be original (no copies or reproductions). No changes or substitutions will be allowed. Paintings lacking wire for hanging and unframed paintings will be rejected, except oils or acrylics on canvas, mounted on stretcher bars. Labels will be provided by SCAA. All fees will be non-refundable after February 1st, No exceptions. All paintings must have artwork title, artist s name and information on the back of the piece. Business cards will be allowed to be placed on a table at the exhibit entrance. Option 1 - Board - $ % of the sale goes to the artist. Maximum 4 paintings permitted per board and must fit on 41"x44" boards, with sufficient space around work for labels (use grid to layout the board). If painting sells, you have the option to replace it for an additional $10 and will be notified via phone. Option 2 - Silent Auction - $10 ea piece (3 submissions maximum). 100% of the sale goes to the artist. Maximum of 3 paintings per artist. Piece(s) must be smaller than 18" in any direction, including frame. Auction closes at 1pm on Sunday, February 12, Winners will be notified via phone call. If they are unable to pick up the work before show close at 5pm, it is the responsibility of the artist to make arrangements with purchaser. Option 3 - Live Auction - $20. 25% of sale will go to the SCAA. Piece must be no larger than a maximum size of 48"x60". All media works accepted. New (not previously shown) artwork only. Unsold pieces will remain in show for sale at artist s asking price. THREE WAYS TO REGISTER Deadline to register is Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 9pm.
