3 When the program is loaded on to your computer find this icon on your desktop an right click on it and select open or just click on the icon This page will appear 1. When you reach the main menu. The above icon in on the toolbar of all of the files. Click on it to bring you to this back-up icon Navigation through the program You will notice when you are in each file the name of the file will appear on the right side. The two icons to the right of the name will take you to the other files Each file will have different tabs. What this does is allows you to navigate through the current file you are in. This is your tool bar or Function Bar One last item and the is the menu bar on the top of the program It is pretty self explanatory except for the

5 Advanced This allows you to import you product list for the inventory file and Item sold for the Menu Item File Navigation Takes you to the main menu and the other files Search USDA: See Inventory Manual User Yields: See Inventory File Self explanatory except for delete and Import If you make a major mistake on you file. This will allow you to bring back your latest back up Summary: This is the basic information that will allow you to start on you program We suggest you start with the inventory file It will save you a lot of time when you are inputting recipes to have the ingredient (Inventory) items inputted.

9 Take it for a test drive One of the most asked question is how do you input the data into each file? 1. Each file will have a new button When you click on the new button you will get a blank record, whether it be Inventory, Recipes, or Menu Item 2. Just type in the data you using other records for example Inventory: You must input a location and this is the most important section of a record
