3 3 Log into eweber, and go to your Staff tab. Click on the link for Crystal. You can also go to Log in with your Wildcat User ID and Password. You will be logged into the home screen of the new Weber State Crystal.
4 4 Your reports can be found by clicking on the plus sign + next to Public Folders. Below is an example of an expansion of Public Folders. You will have only the folders that you have been granted access to. Some folders have sub folders. Click on the plus sign + to expand any sub folder and expand it further.
5 5 The following is a list of helpful buttons and their function: Takes you back to the home crystal page that lists some basic instructions to run a report. Toggles the screen between a full screen view and a view with the reports on the left side. Refreshes the workspace panel. Logs you off of Weber State Crystal. Hides the header panel as well as brings it back again. Maximizes the panel. Restores the panel down to its previous size. Takes you to the last main workspace page. It works like a back button. To show reports in a folder, click on the folder name. For example, click Student Campus Access to show the reports in that folder. After clicking, it may take several seconds for your list of reports to appear. The reports will display in the large portion next to the window with the list of folders. There may be multiple pages of reports in some folders. At the bottom of the report list you will see page numbers. Click on the numbers to see more reports for that folder. To schedule a report, click on Schedule. You can pull up a history of reports you have run by clicking on History. The Properties link will take you to the properties of the report and lists the specific parameters required for that report as well as a description of it.
6 6 You can schedule reports to happen Now, Once, Hourly, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. You may enter the format you would like the report in by clicking on Format. You also must enter the Parameters of the report. Click on Parameters to enter the specific parameters for the report you are running. Click on each Value to enter the parameters. You must click OK after entering each parameter value. You may need to scroll down the page to see the OK button.
7 7 Once you have entered your parameters, click on Schedule in the lower right corner of the screen.
8 8 The History screen will come up with a list of reports that have already been run with the one that is currently running at the top of the list. The report has four statuses: Pending, Running, Success, and Failure. To refresh the window click on the refresh button. When the report is successful, click on the date in the far left collumn to see your report. From the report, you can print or export. The export icon allows you to export the report to your computer, or the print icon will print the report (these buttons only show up if you chose not to format your report).
9 9 To add a report to your favorites. Click on the check box next to the report. Go to the top of the window to the Organize drop down list. Select Add to my Favorites And the report will be added to your favorites folder under My Folders at the left side of the screen.
10 10 You can also Reschedule a report. Once you have run a report, click on History. Find the report in the list and click on Reschedule. You will be taken to the schedule page, and can change any parameters that you need to and then Schedule the report again. To enter parameters, see above page 5.
