Accessing Historical Student Data NECSD

1 Page1 Historical Student data can be accessed individually by student in Infinite Campus. It may also be accessed by course and section roster in 2 locations: Infinite Campus (K-12 assessment data points collected and retained on a district level) and NECSD Teacher Portal (prior year grades and final exams for students currently in grades 7-12). You can only access data for students currently rostered to you in Infinite Campus. How to Access Data by Individual Student in Infinite Campus 1. Log in to Infinite Campus. 2. Once logged in, you will see the screen below. Note that this will vary based on your teaching assignments in IC. Left click on the white 9 square grid in the green bar in the upper right corner of the screen. 3. Then left click on Campus Instruction in the grey bar. 4. The screen below will appear. Left click on roster in the column on the left.

2 Page2 5. The screen below will appear. In the light grey area there are fields marked term and section with drop downs. Click on the drop down arrows to select the term and section the specific student is in. 6. Your roster will appear. Student names will be in blue font. Left click on the student whose assessment history you want to review. 7. A student details/information box will appear. Left click on To Student Information in blue font. 8. The screen below will appear. Left click on the Assessment tab to bring forward assessment data on record for this specific student. Remember that this information is confidential.

3 Page3 How to Access the Custom Student Assessment Summary by Course & Section in Infinite Campus 1. Log in to Infinite Campus. 2. Once logged in you will see the screen below. Note that this will vary based on your teaching assignments in IC. Left click on the white 9 square grid in the green bar in the upper right corner of the screen. 3. Then left click on Campus Instruction in the grey bar. 4. The screen below will appear. In the light grey area there are fields marked term and section with drop downs. Click on the drop down arrows to select the term and section you want to pull the assessment report for.

4 Page4 5. The screen below will appear showing the roster for that course and section. Scroll down on the left until you see Custom Links and Reports appear towards the bottom of the list. Then left click on Custom Links and Reports. 6. The screen below will appear. Left click on Custom Student Assessment Summary in blue font. 7. A new tab will open in your browser. In the first drop down, Test Type, select All. 8. For the second drop down, Test, you can select one particular assessment you want to see in the report; or, you can select ***All*** assessments. 9. For the Students drop down, select Active.

5 Page5 10. For Sort By, select how you would like the students sorted. It is recommended that you select Student Name Alpha. 11. At the bottom, select the output format you prefer for the file. Excel is recommended if you would like to be able to sort the data. It is also useful if you would like to export all assessments and then reduce the file to retain only the most relevant items required for your purpose. 12. Then left click Submit Request on the lower right of the box. 13. Your report will generate. 14. Save the file to your documents. 15. 6 Page6 How to Access Prior Year Report Card Grades for Students Currently in Grades 7-12 Grades for the prior school year and final exam grades that appeared on report cards will be accessible to current year teachers during the SLO creation window. Teachers can access this historical data on students currently rostered to them on Infinite Campus. Please follow these steps to access these data. 1. Log in to the NECSD Teacher Portal through the link on the District website: Click on Teacher Portal. 2. The screen below will appear. Input your NESCD full address and the password you created when you created your teacher portal account. 3. If you created an account but do not know your password, contact the webmaster to have your password reset by clicking CONTACT WEBMASTER at the bottom of the screen. 4. If you have never created an account, please click REGISTER and create an account.

7 Page7 5. Once you have logged in to the NECSD Teacher Portal click on the icon to access your student data. 6. You will see a list of rosters linked to you for this school year. Select the one you want to view. Remember that this information is confidential.
