1 Instructions for setting up the Options Mastery charts in the Thinkorswim platform. Indicator Download: Step 1: Click on the TOS indicator package listed below and Save it to your Desktop If using Internet Explorer just click on the link below and select 'Save As'. Then save it to the desktop. It will download as a zip file. If using Firefox click on the link below and select 'Save File'. Then go into your downloads folder and right click on the PTUOM for ToS v1.0 Zip Folder. Select extract all. Extract the files to the Desktop. Click Here for the TOS Indicator Package Step 2: Login to the TOS platform Step 3: Click on the Charts Tab Step 4: Right click on the Chart and go to 'Studies'. Then select 'Edit Studies'. Step 5: Click on the 'Import' button in the lower left hand corner of the Edit Studies and Strategies box. Step 6: Select the Desktop Folder Step 7: Hold down your Control button on your keyboard and right click on all 6 of the PTUOM files. Once all of them are selected click Open. Step 8: You should see all 6 indicators now listed in the Studies section of the Edit Studies and Strategies box on your screen. You can now start adding them to your charts.

2 Basic and Re-Entry Trade Chart Setup: Step 1: Click on Charts tab on the TOS platform Step 2: In symbol box type in the symbol of the product that you are looking to setup. Step 3: Click on Style. Select Aggregation type and select Range. Step 4: Click on Style. Select Intraday Days - Custom. Step 5: In the box that pops up type in the Range setting for that month. This can be found from the Chart Settings Spreadsheet on the owner s site or by using the monthly chart and the PTU_OMRange Indicator. Step 6: Click on Style. Select Settings. Click on the Equities tab and make sure the Show Extended Hours Trading session and Highlight Extended Hours Trading session boxes are unchecked. Step 7: Click on Studies and select Edit Studies Step 8: Put on the 3 Active Swing Trader indicators. You can do this by double clicking on the following indicators: -PTUOM_SignalLine -PTUOM_Sentiment -PTUOM_ActiveSwingTrader Step 9: Click on the gear icon next to the PTUOM_Signal line indicator. Set the input to the Signal line value given in the Chart Settings Spreadsheet on the owner s site (under the Step 10: Click on the gear icon next to the PTUOM_Sentiment indicator. Set the input to the Sentiment value given in the Chart Settings Spreadsheet on the owner s site (under the

3 Step 11: Click on the gear icon next to the PTUOM_ActiveSwingTrader indicator. Make sure to add the Signal Line and Sentiment values to the calculator. Also make sure the multipliers found in the Chart Settings Spreadsheet match up with the values in the calculator. For the Stop and Reverse section use the following settings: -Input Set to Method 3 -Input i3711 and i Both set to 600 -Input i374 - Needs to match up with the Stop and Reverse multiplier found in the Inputs and Settings Spreadsheet on the owner s site. Step 12: Once Steps 1-11 are setup on the first chart click on Studies and select Save Study Set. Give the Study set a name. Step 13: Click on the Grid button located in the top right hand corner of the screen. Select the number of charts that you are looking to load. Only setup the number of charts on your watch list. Keep in mind the more charts you load the slower your computer will run. Step14: On the remaining charts you can now skip Step 8. Instead of following this step click on the Studies button and select Load Study Set. Select the Study Set that you named in Step 12. This will load all the indicators at once. Step 15: You will need to set the Signal Line, Sentiment, and Calculator settings outlined in Steps 9-11 on all charts which you setup. Step 16: Once all your Charts are setup click on the Grid button again in the upper right hand corner and select Select grid as. Give the grid a name. Step 17: When you login next time you can now just click on the Grid button and select the Grid name that you saved in Step 16. This will load all the charts with the settings your saved earlier.

4 Reversal Setup Charts Step 1: Click on Charts tab on the TOS platform Step 2: In symbol box type in the symbol of the product that you are looking to setup. Step 3: Click on Style. Select Aggregation type and select Range. Step 4: Click on Style. Select Intraday Days - Custom. Step 5: In the box that pops up type in the Range setting for that month. This can be found from the Chart Settings Spreadsheet on the owner s site or by using the monthly chart and the PTU_OMRange Indicator. Step 6: Click on Style. Select Settings. Click on the Equities tab and make sure the Show Extended Hours Trading session and Highlight Extended Hours Trading session boxes are unchecked. Set the input to the Signal line value given in the Chart Settings Spreadsheet on the owner s site (under the Step 10: Click on the gear icon next to the Williams%R indicator. Set the length to 55. Set the Overbought level to -10 and the oversold level to -90. Step 11: Click on the gear icon next to the PTUOM_ActiveSwingReversal indicator. Make sure to add the Signal Line value to the calculator. Also make sure the multipliers match up with the values found in PTU Reversal Setup Input Settings spreadsheet on the owner s site. Step 12: Once Steps 1-11 are setup on the first chart click on Studies and select Save Study Set. Give the Study set a name.
