2 Matrix OS/Browser Compatibility Matrix 6.12 is compatible with the latest browser versions supported by mainstream operating systems. Retired operating systems and browsers, such as Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), are not supported. All users who are using a previous version of these browsers will be presented with a warning at login to encourage upgrading. Issues related to supported browsers that can t be resolved by upgrading to the latest newer version will be reviewed and resolved on a priority and best-effort basis. CoreLogic will support upgrades to browsers as soon as reasonably practical after the date when the new version of the browser is available for shipment in new retail computers. Matrix Desktop Desktop users who choose to use Internet Explorer (IE) on Windows Vista can upgrade as far as IE9. Windows 7 and Windows 8 can upgrade to IE11. Firefox and Chrome automatically update to their most recent versions regardless of underlying operating system. Matrix Desktop supports the following browsers; Internet Explorer 9, 10, 11 And the most recent versions of: o Safari o Chrome o Firefox o Android Browser o Chrome Mobile o Safari Mobile Matrix Mobile ipad and Android Tablet users should ensure they're up to date with the most recent version of their browser they can install. Matrix Mobile supports the following browsers: IOS Safari IOS Chrome Android Browser Android Chrome Bugs reported against other platforms (including Windows Phone) will be fixed on a best-effort basis. 3 New and Enhanced Features in Matrix 6.12 Customer Portal Changes The Customer Portal has had a large number of User Interface enhancement changes in Matrix v6.12 designed to improve the consumer experience. Header and Footer packages and styles have been updated to be wider to span the entire width of the Portal. The previous headers were 745 pixels wide and are now 1200 pixels. Users who have previously uploaded Custom Headers at 745x85 pixels are encouraged to upload a new header image at 1200x85. Page 3

4 A new Side-by-Side Thumbnail and Map has been created and implemented for the customer portal. This new display is a more consumer friendly report with a More Info option that displays the customer synopsis. Colored ribbons with text will be displayed at an angle over the top left corner of listing images on side by side thumbnail report in the customer portal. Intent is to use these ribbons to indicate recent changes to the listings so the consumer knows why particular listings are "new or changed". The ribbons will indicate the following; New Listing, Status Change, Price Decrease, and Price Increase. The ribbons will display on listings in the portal for 7 days. You will see the following: The Print, and Mark as Viewed icons at the top of the list, and Sort options have been added to the view. The pick list to filter New or All Listings is much easier to locate. The text size of standard buttons and labels on the Portal has been increased on the Welcome screen. This change does not affect the text size in listing displays. The Welcome and Properties tabs have been moved to the left in order to accommodate the wider banner. All the Mapping Tool icons are now grouped together in one location above the map. Page 4

5 When consumers enter criteria into the search form and execute the search, they will now see the Save button attached to the search tab. Clicking the Notes icon in the Split View now expands the Notes section inline, rather than linking to the full view. The option for the consumer to view only unread (i.e. "New") or "All" listings has been moved from within the list of searches, and is now two toggle buttons attached to the search picker. Just as before it is available only when viewing listings from an auto (not contact-run searches or manually ed listings). A new system default sort option Order by Date Sent has been created. o Currently all auto results on the Portal are displayed in the order in which they were added to the Portal. Thus, a listing which matched the search several weeks ago but then has a subsequent price change might be highlighted in yellow (because of the price change) but still displayed some distance down the results list. Many members requested that listings instead be sorted by the Sent Date which would result in that price change listing being moved to the top of the list along with other new matches. o Matrix v6.12 is configured for the default sort to be by "Sent Date". 6 Market Watch The results screen for Market Watch now allows the user to easily switch between sections without having to navigate back to Home Page. Click on the new Down Arrow icon to quickly switch to other Market Watch sections. Auto- Enhancement Increased the default number of listings the consumer can see when they receive an from 5 listings to 10 listings with a link to the listings. If there are more than 10 new/changed listings the first ten will be included in the and the rest of the listings will be on the portal. This is a change from previous behavior where no listings would be shown if there were more than the limit. Add/Edit The bottom button bar within Add/Edit now floats so it is always visible, just as with the bottom button bar in Search. User s no longer need to scroll to the bottom of the screen to hit Save. Search Results When an agent modifies a system grid, then goes to the gear icon and selects Save current display, sort order, etc. as my default then Matrix now automatically creates a user copy of that grid. Prior behavior was that this action simply saved the unmodified system grid as the default, with many users not realizing they first had to save a copy of the grid, and then save that new grid as the default. 7 Changes and Issues Resolved Changes in v6.11 ID Function Description 9924 Add/Edit Enhancement - Auto Save Data while adding new listings to avoid accidental loss of work. New listings are automatically saved after several minutes (5-10) if no keyboard input is detected, or when the user navigates away from the Input screen or when switching between Input screen tabs. The Auto Save features works for new listings only. Auto Save will not work for edits to existing listings. The Auto-Save Recovery screen will automatically be displayed immediately after the user signs into Matrix and displays options to manage listings that had been previously auto-saved. Restore will load the Add/Edit screen with the listing data where the user last left off. Discard or Discard All will delete saved listing data. Skip will proceed to Home page but recovery screen will display at Login as long as Auto Save Recovery data exists. Auto Save data is automatically purged after 7 days Export Enhancement Grids are now exportable All System and Custom grids can now be exported. All fields that are printable are exportable. Non-printable columns such as icons will not be exported Reverse Prospecting Enhancement: It is now possible to configure the Reverse Prospect Results screen to highlight rows of prospects whose agent is in the current user s office CMA Enhancement: Character Counter has been added to the Remarks field in Subject property Images When images are uploaded to Matrix that contains image meta data tags such as Copyright, this meta data will now be retained after image is uploaded, resized and/or watermarked Printing Multi-map displays are now included among the user's recently printed displays CMA The CMA Adjustments page no longer allows changes to fields that'll never reach the report. Text is now displayed as a Label and not a Text box control Page 7

8 Changes and Issues Resolved Changes in v6.11 ID Function Description Market Reports Fix popup calendar control in Market Reports to use Single Date selection instead of 'Date Range' option Mobile Portal Fix Forward and Back Navigation Buttons in mobile portal that are too large Search When saving a Speedbar search as a shortcut, the Property Type (e.g. Residential) was not saved with the shortcut. When the shortcut was run it assumed a Cross Property search. n/a When History (in MyMatrix) was sorted by Date Viewed, some items would be out of order - specifically ed statistical reports and Net-sheets Search Help Icons on the the Search Screen would disappear when switching from the Criteria screen to either the Map or Results screen, then back to Criteria screen. Changes in v6.12 ID Function Description Mapping When the map is zoomed out to the point where a selected map layer (i.e. Parcels) is no longer visible, the Map Layer label in the Layers options will now appear in red text to indicate the layer is not visible at the current map zoom level and the map must be zoomed in for it to be visible.
