1 A master and the View Add Roster from Template B Creating a Roster () Creating a New Roster Opening / Navigating to a Roster Select master and the View task unit from the drop down list Click on Find unit from the drop down list correct Template Click on Find Note: that already exist are clearly displayed. 2 Creating a Roster () C master and the View D Viewing Vacancies / Unfilled Duties View Click on Show Vacancies (if not already displayed) using the unit drop down list and the calendar Filtering Vacancies Click on each requirement to view vacancies within each A number of filter options will be displayed above the vacancies, in the tool bar Note: The filter options available will depend upon the requirements set up in the Demand Template for the unit Click on the Show Vacancies button in the tool bar Vacant duties will be displayed at the top of the, above the bar Use the drop down lists against one or more filters to sort the vacancies as required Click on Reset to clear all filters and return to a display of all vacancies Tick/untick Filter People Too to display only people who match the criteria of the filtered vacancies in the ALL.0 0.0
3 Creating a Roster () E Allocating Duties Manually Click on Show Vacancies (if not already displayed) F Managing Requests requirement Use the filters if required Click on the vacant duty you wish to assign Note: You can use the Ctrl key to multi-select Hold the left mouse button and drag and drop the duty or duties to the name of the person you wish to assign them to The duty or duties will be assigned to the appropriate place in the, and will be checked against rules and restrictions Note: To remove a duty assignment, click on the duty to be removed and drag back to the Vacancies area ALL Duty and day off Requests made via Employee Online will be displayed and marked with the R icon Annual Leave and Study Requests made via Employee Online will also be displayed and marked with the R icon, and? If the ay are waiting to be approved. To manually assign a Request, select the duty or day off from the Vacancies window and drag to the person Right click on the assigned duty or day off and select Set Requested Status from the list which appears The Request will now be marked with the R icon To cancel a Request right click on the Request and select Cancel Duty
4 Creating a Roster () G Modifying Shift Times assigned duty to be modified Right click and select Adjust Times, or click on the Adjust Times button at the bottom of the Adjust Start and End Times as required Check Rest Times Select a Duty Change Reason from the drop down list Enter Comments if required Click o n OK The duty will be displayed with a clock icon and the revised times. The tooltip will confirm the details. H Assigning and Editing Click on the Person s name or the date on which the episode begins Right click and select Add from the list which appears, or click on the Add button at the bottom of the Group and Reason from the drop down lists Click on the calendar icons and select the first and last dates of the episode, or enter the start date and the Duration (in days) Status from the drop down list Check the calculated hours by Post Click on OK The edit an episode, click on the episode, right click and select Edit. ALL.0 0.0

Right click and select Auto Roster, or click on the action button at the bottom of the Favourite, i.e. What you want Auto Roster to do, and click on OK The Status will be clearly displayed on the Roster Bar The progress of the Auto Roster is visible in the tooltip when you click on the Roster Bar Click on the purple Roster Bar Click on the printer icon in the toolbar print format required from the drop down list. Check the View Date and the Unit. Use the filters to select the detail you wish to include in the printed Click on Run Report ALL.0 0.0
