8 Tender 12/ AAUP RFP Cloud Based Disaster Recovery Site for Arab American University - Palestine OVERVIEW AAUP is looking for respondents to summarize their qualifications for the ability to provide cloud-based backup and site recovery solutions for its IT infrastructures. These systems should have the ability to work with a variety of and VMware infrastructure to ultimately back up to a remote off-site secure cloud-based location. There must be ability to recover systems via cloud-based recovery, with orne systems being managed by the vendor for complete recovery including iperating systems and applications. rey features of such systems and services should include: Secure, reliable, certified data protection infrastructure. J Easydeployment and management. Broad platform support. Ensured compliance with data protection policies and regulations. - Backup and recovery from cloud systems hosted by vendor. - Enhanced cloud recovery services to restore selected systems to operational levels. - Customer support centered. owever, for general benefit of the respondents to see the ultimate scope of the iffrastructure, AAUP has diverse platforms, Redhat Unux, oracle Unux, ard other Unux based virtual appliances. Hosted upon 6 physical servers driven by V\Mware vsphere 6.7, running more than 70 virtual servers. 20 critical virtual servers ~iii be our target for cloud DR. AAUP mainly has systems such as Efchange, SQL, ERP, 115,and Oracle database server, oracle applications servers,java Based Portals, and a few industry specific applications, consisting of around 7 t~rabytes of data for backup and recovery in total. ~urpose of RFP: The purpose of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to request p oposals from vendors who provide cloud-based backup and site recovery solutions.
