5 USIM Card USIM Card is the property of SoftBank Mobile. The IC hip ontains ustomer information inluding phone number. USIM Card must be installed for use. See USIM Card user guide (Japanese). USIM Card Installation Power off 2 If Miro USB Cable is onneted, remove it 7 With label up, 4 slide forward, 5 press down to insert d e 8 Replae Cover 3 Remove Cover 4 Lift battery 2b (Use Noth a) and remove it 5 Insert USIM Card into USIM Card Slot with IC hip down a b IC hip 6 Confirm USIM Card installation -5
6 Removing USIM Card Power off 2 If Miro USB Cable is onneted, remove it 3 Remove Cover 4 Lift battery 2b (Use Noth a) and remove it 5 Slide USIM Card out and remove it from USIM Card Slot 6 With label up, 4 slide forward, 5 press down to insert d e 7 Replae Cover a b Avoid touhing the IC hip; may ause damage. Foribly inserting/removing USIM Card may damage it. Be areful not to lose removed USIM Card. Prevent hildren from aidentally swallowing USIM Card. If IC hip is dusty, lean with a soft loth. Memory Card Wi-Fi router aepts mirosd /mirosdhc up to 32GB. SoftBank does not guarantee ompatibility with all mirosd /mirosdhc ards. -6
7 Memory Card Installation Power off 2 If Miro USB Cable is onneted, remove it 3 Remove Cover (see "USIM Card Installation" (P.-5) Step 3 ) 4 Remove battery (see "USIM Card Installation" (P.-5) Step 4 ) Removing Memory Card Power off 2 If Miro USB Cable is onneted, remove it 3 Remove Cover (see "Removing USIM Card" (P.-6) Step 3 ) 4 Remove battery (see "Removing USIM Card" (P.-6) Step 4 ) 5 Slide Cover down until it liks and lift it as shown 6 With ontats down, insert Memory Card 7 Slide Cover up until it liks 5 Slide Cover 6 Remove down until it Memory Card liks and lift it as shown 7 Slide Cover up until it liks 8 Replae battery (see "USIM Card Installation" (P.-5) Step 7 ) 9 Replae Cover (see "USIM Card Installation" (P.-5) Step 8 ) 8 Replae battery (see "Removing USIM Card" (P.-6) Step 6 ) 9 Replae Cover (see "Removing USIM Card" (P.-6) Step 7 ) Do not insert USIM Card or Memory Card with exessive fore. May ause damage. Do not misplae a removed Memory Card. -7
8 Battery Inserting Battery Insert battery before use. For battery installation steps, see "USIM Card" (P.-5). Charging Battery Battery is not harged fully out of the box. Charge battery fully before using Wi-Fi router. AC Adapter Insert Miro USB Cable miro plug into Wi-Fi router External Devie Port 2 Insert Miro USB Cable plug into AC Adapter 3 Plug AC Adapter prongs into AC 00 V outlet USB Charger Insert Miro USB Cable miro plug into Wi-Fi router External Devie Port 2 Insert Miro USB Cable plug into PC USB port Conneting Wi-Fi router to PC for the first time automatially ativates driver installer. See P.3-5 or P.3-6. USB harging may be unavailable depending on modem (battery) temperature. Battery Strength Battery Strength indiator appears at the top of Display. If battery beomes low, indiator flashes. See "Display" (P.-3) -8
9 Charging Preautions When harging battery, note the following: Battery must be installed to harge it. Always use speified AC Adapter or Miro USB Cable. Battery disharges even if Wi-Fi router is not in use. Charge after long periods of disuse. Approximate Charging Time/Operating Time Charging Time AC Adapter: 4 hours USB Charger: 5 hours Continuous Operating Time 2 Continuous Communiation Time 2 00 hours 4 hours Varies by ambient temperature, battery usage, et. 2 Varies by environment, signal onditions, et. Replae battery if operating time shortens notieably. -9
