Connetion between PRG007 interfae an MSy evies is realize by using the same harness kit available for the PDC Programmer. In ase you have not these harness kit available please orer them with referene to PROGRAMMABLE DEVICES. Kit oe is ABS Main Funtions : Funtion set up: possibility to rea an set up aessory funtions with a very simple seletion. Protool set up : possibilità to set up all protool alreay available an a the new ones available after software upate with a very rapi seletion. Can Bus protool upate: the new protools available uner teh area on site an be easily a to the PRG007 interfae. Most frequent set up : possibility to store your most frequent set up. They an be easily loa an use to program many units with the same set up. 2 CONNECTION AND SET UP PERSONAL COMPUTER USB onnetion able inlue PRG007 programmer Aess to site, Teh Area, Programmer PRG007 foler. 1 Before proeing please ownloa the free NET 4.0 Framework iretly from Mirosoft web site This MICROSOFT.NET FrameWork 4.0 is neessary to start up orretly installation of PRG007 interfae program. 2 Now ownloa an install the PRG007 software alle SOFTWARE PROGRAMMAZIONE PRG Clik on SOFTWARE PROGRAMMAZIONE PRG Selet OPEN an OPEN WITH seleting the program to unzip. 3 5 Clik on the SW PROGRAMMAZIONE PRG007 foler. 6 Clik on SET UP.exe file After ompleting installation you will have the following inon in your esktop or tool bar Now onnet the PRG007 an MSY evies as shown in the fig. above. After onnetion the le of the PRG007 start to flash. This means that it is orretly supplie by the USB port. After onnetion wait till the automati installation of the river is omplete. Co Pag. 3

4 DEVICE PROGRAMMING Open the PRG007 software by the ion. You will have the following winows (we show the Easy Can Digital sreen as example) CONNECT REBOOT PRODUCT. Re button for evie onnetion. SW REVISION: you will fin the last upate version on site SETTINGS for language seletion OPEN FILE to uploa store onfiguration SAVE FILE to store a frequent onfiguration that you want to uploa frequently an repeat in many units. 5 Connetion to the evie is automati running but you an fore with CONNECT REBOOT PRODUCT button as shown above. Connete evies SW an HW revision are shown in green After ompleting moifiations an selet moule omman it is possible to set up all the MSY Devie (Base + moule) with SET omman. all moifiations are shown in re. 6 SOFTWARE UPDATE All the software upate available will be uploa in the teh area of the site an omuniate with usual Teh News. To omplete software upate an ownloa the upate see on PRG007 foler an proee as esribe in CONNECTION AND SET UP paragraph from pont 2 on. ADVANCED FUNCTIONS FOR EASY CAN EVO (only for authorize importer) PRG007 allows to aes new avane funtions for the new Easy Can Evo Digital alarm unit. Those funtions enable the possibility to ustomize the available protool seletions with the main bran of ar maker. All these seletion an be protete uner passwor to restrit the aess. EASY CAN EVO Digital PROTOCOL SELECTION WINDOWS CUSTOMIZATION OF CAN BUS PROTOCOL SELECTION: In the winows on the left all protool selete are shown. In the winows on the right all possible seletion per ar maker are shown. AVAILABLE PROTOCOLS POSSIBLE SELECTION PER CAR MAKER Co Pag. 6

7 Selet ar maker esire (eg. BMW an CITROEN). Winows on the left will automatially point out ar maker protools. Press SET omman to onfirm seletion to the moule. Wait unitil PROCESS TERMINATED message will appear on the progress bar. SELECTED PROTOCOLS SET COMMAND PROCESS TERMINATED PROGRESS BAR Now it is possible to Blok the protool seletion uner passwor (psw. must be forme by 6 numbers) After inserting passwor in the PASSWORD winows set omman LOCK/UNLOCK moule. The ion palok beomes RED. It means that the moule protetion is ative. The aes to the moule onfiguration setting is now available just after passwor inserting. For safety reason there s no any reset proeure when the moule is uner passwor! GREEN FLAG: FREE ACCESS. RED FLAG: ACCESS DENIED BY PASSWORD. Moule protetion ative. Co Pag. 7

8 To omplete setting operations proee as following on CAR PROGRAMMER sreen: On the MODULE winows BMW an CITROEN will appear now as only seletable. Proee with moule setting. All ustomization an be store with SAVE FILE. The save file will be utomatially reate in a Easy Can iretory. In any ase it will be possible to move the store file where you prefer in your personal foler. SAVE FILE To set up more Easy Can Evo units with the store setting file it will be possible to uploa with OPEN FILE. Point out the store file e.g. My Configuration. On CAR PROGRAMMER sreen will appear a new winows CONFIGURATION FILE with DOWNLOAD omman. Press DOWNLOAD an wait till proess is terminate (see tool bar on the bottom right) Press SET to transfer all settings to onnete Easy Can Evo unit. DOWNLOAD Connet a new Easy Can Evo unit to the PRG007 interfae. Wait till the onnetion is one an press DOWNLOAD an SET omman. Wait till progress bar have finishe.
