PowerSchool Weekend Updates and Fixes The following items will be promoted into PowerSchool this weekend. If you have any questions or concerns about these items, please contact the Home Base Support Center at a) SRC Release of State Reporting b) State Reporting 1) Updating Setup Pages for CRDC at the District and School level with new content changes c) Student Pages 1) Health Student Accident Log i. Updating to lock daily log entries at midnight (Entries are then disabled/grayedout) ii. Updating the Add Treatment page to correctly save the user entered treatment for new records iii. Resolving issue with saving the Principal Review Date iv. Changing full record page to return to main Accident page 2) Health Student Medicine Log i. Updating to correctly save and display Medication Log Entries with Date, Time, and Dosage after being added

2 d) Transcripts UNC Minimum Requirements Process 1) Updating to resolve duplication of foreign language courses e) Federal Cluster Package 1) Applying updates for the following: i. TAS Enable user to add TAS students who are currently in a program school ii. SIG, RLIS, and Title I Student part are now ready for reporting f) Migrant 1) Changing sorting order to the Migrant Recruiters dropdown 2. Home Base Maintenance Weekend for September 2014 The next Home Base maintenance weekend is scheduled for Friday, September 19 through Monday, September 22. The system will shut down Friday at 5 p.m. Once maintenance is completed a message will be sent to notify users that the system is up and available for use. Home Base will be returned to service no later than 6 a.m., Monday, September 22. If a delay in bringing up the system should occur, users will be notified via NC SIS . This maintenance weekend will include updates and/or additions of the following: LEA/School Workflow Improvement for State Collections, PMR Data Collection and Validation, SAR Data Collection and Validation, RPG Data Collection and Validation, Dropout Data Collection and Validation, AIG Data Collection, Discipline Collection and Validation, GDVS Collection and Validation, ALP Collection, Common Follow Up Collection, CRDC Data Entry Pages, CRDC Report Part 1 and 2 Collection, and Extended Schema Definitions. Please refer to the 2014 North Carolina Release Notes accessible on the Release Highlights page of the NC SIS website at sis.org/release_highlights.html for more details. 3. Guidance for Course Code FAQs Please read the memo concerning Guidance for Course Code FAQs addressed to directors, lead administrators and charter schools from William J. January 6 9, 2015 (9:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.) o g) PowerSchool Workshop for Guidance Counselors This workshop will be a hands on training covering the basic functionality of PowerSchool pertinent to school counselors.
