2 Installing Thermostat Base to drywall NOTE: Skip to page 3 for fl ush mount installation. Remove cover from thermostat base. NOTE: For ease of installation, remove ribbon cable from cover and not thermostat base. Place thermostat base on wall as a template and mark the center of three mounting holes. NOTE: Do not mount thermostat base to wood studs. Drill three 3/6" dia. holes to a minimum depth of ". Push anchors into drywall. Fasten thermostat base to wall using three #6 phillips screws. 3 Flush mount installation of Thermostat Base Remove cover from thermostat base. NOTE: For ease of installation, remove ribbon cable from cover and not thermostat base. Place thermostat base on wall as a template and trace outline of box. Remove portion of drywall. NOTE: Do not mount thermostat base to wood studs. Place thermostat base into wall and mark the center of four mounting holes. Drill four 3/6" dia. holes to a minimum depth of ". Push anchors into drywall. 4 Installing Sensor to drywall 2 Place sensor mount on wall and mark the center of two mounting holes. NOTE: Sensor wires from PNT-S may be extended, if needed, up to 300 feet. Drill one 3/6" dia. holes to a minimum depth of ". Push anchor into drywall. Fasten sensor mount to wall with sensor bracket using two #6 phillips screws. NOTE: Be sure hole for wire feed is on bottom. 3 Feed sensor wires through drywall and secure cap in place with socket head screw. 4 of 7 ISSUED: , SHEET #: SOL

5 Configuring Sensor wires 4 Feed sensor wire through wall and into center hole of thermostat base. Install BLACK WIRE into port labeled 9. Install WHITE WIRE into port labeled 0. Install RED WIRE into port labeled 3. Install GREEN WIRE into port labeled 6. Install 24-VAC wires into ports, 2, and 3. NOTE: Review chart on page 7 for completion of wire configuration. 4- OPTIONAL: Feed ethernet cord through wall and into side hole of thermostat base. 6 5 Reconnect ribbon cable to cover. NOTE: Be sure that RED STRAND of ribbon cable is on bottom. Turn power switch to ON. Remove clear label from dip switch. Hook cover onto thermostat base and be sure that no pressure is applied to motherboard. Reinstall phillips screw through bottom of thermostat base to lock in place. If connecting a PNT to a JACE or equivalent Niagara based product, you must be sure to have proper licensing and installation of Sedona on said device. When making a Sedona connection to the PNT, the username is admin and there is no password.
