3 Go to to see the app breakdown and access the download links for iphones and Androids via the Apple App Store or Google Play buttons at the bottom of the page 1 Downloading the App 3 3

4 2 Signing Up When you first open the App on your phone, it will prompt you for an address. Please be sure to use the address you used when registering for Conference Once you ve entered that information you can choose any password you like, repeat said password to confirm, and select Sign Up Once you ve completed the Sign Up step, simply select Log In at the very bottom of the screen to continue 4 4

5 Step 1: Access your Profile Step 2: Settings Step 1: Access your Profile by selecting the middle circle above your name in the main menu (this will later feature your picture, once you upload your photo of choice) Step 2: To make this and other changes, click on the cog in the top right corner to view Settings Step 3: Select Edit Profile Step 3: Edit Profile 3 Your Profile 5 5

6 Be sure to select Allow when your phone asks if the Avon Conference App can send you Notifications 4 Notifications Keep your eyes out and your phone close; you ll be receiving the latest updates live throughout the event, from details on where you need to be to alerts when an exciting new booth is available to check out 6 6

8 Welcome Survey Spark Avon.ca Check out the Welcome section when you arrive You ll receive a special notification to complete a Survey in this section at the end of Conference Direct access to Spark with the touch of a button Navigate to Avon.ca via the App as well! 8 8

9 We invite you to Review the sessions afterwards, to be sure our Conference continues to evolve every year! Agenda When you select Agenda you will see a breakdown of the event schedule for each day When you select one of the sessions you ll be able to see all of the details, including the Location (select here to see it on a map) and any Documents attached to this session (select to open) 9 9

10 In the Map section, you can view the different Rooms and Floors Select here to change the floor you re viewing Map The Map is interactive, so when you click, different areas are highlighted and you can see a breakdown of the schedule in that room 10 10

11 Presenters Be sure to check out the inspiring bios of all our fabulous Presenters! When you select an individual Presenter it takes you to their Details page 11 11

12 Documents Every document can also be found attached to their applicable session The Documents section has all of the Conference documentation collected in one spot for your easy reference! You can view & save each document from here as well! 12 12

13 This is your App s News Feed Activity Stream Be sure to check in regularly from some special posts, share your own thoughts & photos, comment and like those you see from others 13 13

14 Participants & The Private Messaging Feature In the Participants section you ll be able to view profiles of everyone at the event. You can also invite your new friends from across Canada to Private Message! 14 14

15 Red number indicating any new messages Start a new message thread The Private Messaging Feature You can private message anyone who is part of the event! Simply select the envelope icon at the top right of the menu Here s where you ll find your message inbox, with unread messages indicated by the blue dot When you select an existing message stream you can see the conversation history and send more messages 15 15

16 When you do, you have the option of setting yourself a Reminder Alert before the session begins Favorites & Notes This Blue Star is a shortcut to the Favorites & Notes section You can Favorite the sessions you re most excited for by selecting its Star You can also add Presenters & other event Participants to your Favorites 16 16

17 Export your Notes to other Apps, , Text, etc. Favorites & Notes Create a new Note In the Favorites & Notes section you can view everything that you ve selected as a Favorite Take your own Notes throughout the event, with an option to Tag fellow Participants & Presenters 17 17

18 Throughout the event, attached to individual sessions or as part of the Activity stream, you ll be invited to participate in some quick multiple-choice Polls Be sure to participate as it s your biggest points earner in the Activity Contest 7 Polls Read on to find out more about how you can earn points to make it to the Leaderboard where our top contenders could qualify for prizes! 18 18

19 Select the drop down menu at the top of Participants to view the Leaderboard Points Breakdown 8 Activity Contest Keep one eye on the prize and one eye on the Leaderboard! The more you participate in the app, the more points you receive, the higher your chances are to beat out your new friends for a prize! 19 19

20 Select individual Participants to see their Profile details Select here to access the menu that allows you to add others to your phone Contacts 9 Collaboration Don t lose touch with your new friends after conference! Keep brainstorming and working together in the year to come by adding Participants to your phone Contacts 20 20
