1 Guide to Yammer For Education Filed There have been an increase in use of the social network applications in education system such as Facebook, Twitter and Yammer. Yammer create by Microsoft Office Company and it describe as an enterprise Social Network that brings together people, conversations, content, and business data in a single location (Yammer, 2014). This paper will be designed to guide Omani teachers and student for use Yammer as a support to learning for post basic students. Yammer has many feature that make it a better choice for this assignment such as free membership, allowing users to create private group and share different materials ( text, video, article and image) (Yammer, 2014). This guide will divide into different steps related to Salmon's (2011) models. First stage: access and motivation: open Yammer website and create an account. Yammer is a close free service for companies, institutions and organisations. It allow the employees to create an account through accessing the internet and writing Yammers address.

2 The next windows is the Yammer home page. To create an account just put your works for example in this table then click Sign up. The next window will ask you to checking your to complete your registration through conformation. The window will guide you to complete different steps such as asking user to write your name and department or school.

3 To log into Yammer you only have to click the log in button AT the top of the Yammer home page. The next step you will get this window so, write your address and password, then log in.

4 To input your profile in Yammer you will find this window. When you done the pervious step you will find this window. Yammer profile has many feature such as home, inbox, notification and invite

5 Inbox: include the unread Messages Notification: tell you about new in Yammer such as new follower. Invite: to invite new followers through their , which they must be in the same work as yours. Stage 2 socialisation: use ground rules in Yammer and the teachers will make some rules and ask students to write other rules and complete their participants profiles.

6 It is an important to complete the profiles such as adding a photo and writing brief information. For adding a photo click on 'upload photo' button as shown in the home page. Then select the photo, then open, the photo will be added as shown. To add brief information about yourself click on your name as shown.

7 Then click on the 'edit profile' button.

8 The Profile page has many features that can cover such things as changing a photo, brief information about you. The last thing when you are editing your profile is to click on the button 'save as shown.

9 Stage 3 information exchange: use Yammer facilities such as reply, liked, upload and post different information. An important feature of Yammer is that the teacher can create the teacher to create a private group for each class and different subject and then invite the students to join. invited the students. Through this group the student can share and post their questions and upload their assignment and differ thought. They can also attachment different materials such as image, video through clicking on this buttons Moreover, Yammer allow the teacher to see who is online and offline this windows.

10 Stage 4 knowledge construction: create questions and received responses from the group and discus it, uploading and post different activates. Example1. Use Yammer for create survey. Yammer allows their participants to create a survey or questions through click in poll button and write the questions or attach any files that they choose when you finish post. The participants will answer the question through selecting one of the choices. Then click vote. They can also write comment through reply
