2 Get ready to make it your best year yet to support your community! my Giving and Volunteering is our new, mobile-friendly website that makes it simpler to contribute your time, talents and financial resources to the causes you care about most. The site makes it easier to find and record volunteer activities anytime, anywhere. To help you get started using my Giving and Volunteering, we ve designed a guide to help you learn how to set up your mobile device and use the site from your desktop or mobile device. Need help? 3 Bookmark my Giving and Volunteering with your personal mobile device If you have a personal mobile device and would like to create a bookmark of the my Giving and Volunteering site, follow these steps. Open your browser and go to Follow the steps applicable to your device: Apple users Tap Send To > Add Bookmark. Choose your Location. Click Save. Android users Tap the menu button icon in the upper-right corner. Select Add Bookmark or tap the Bookmark star. Blackberry users Tap on the URL shown at the bottom of the screen Tap the vertical ellipsis in the bottom right corner of the screen. Select Add to Home Screen or Add Bookmark. Click Save. Congratulations! The bookmark is now on your mobile device. Click here to learn how to use the site. 3

4 Access my Giving and Volunteering Go to my Giving and Volunteering from your computer or mobile device. Need help? For site questions, contact or click Need Support at the bottom of any page in the site. 3 4 Retirees select Bank of America US Retirees and use your established username and password. Click I ACCEPT. The first time you access the site each calendar year, you ll be asked to review and accept the Employee Giving Program rules. Click the hand icon in the upper right corner to access your profile and account information. Important tips Optimize your user experience by customizing your profile and account information. Set your annual volunteer hours goal to see your impact on the home screen. Add a secondary, non-bank to enhance your mobile experience including the ability to instantly log event hours. Select your volunteer preferences to enable recommended event search. You can add your photo to your profile. 4

5 Find volunteer events Click FIND VOLUNTEER EVENTS on the home page of my Giving and Volunteering. Find events using the monthly team calendar specific to a location. Click Headline events or Recommended events for listings based on your profile preferences. For an advanced search, click Event search. 3 Select the event, review the event details and click Sign Up. The enroll in this event screen displays. Complete the required fields, click Save and Proceed. Review your volunteer registration and click Submit. To add the event to your calendar, click Share and follow the calendar steps. 5

6 Record volunteer hours Click RECORD VOLUNTEER HOURS on the home page of my Giving and Volunteering. To record event hours, click Log event hours. Find the event, and click Log hours. To record independent hours, select from the Organizations I support list and click Create New. You can also search for the organization by keyword and location. Important tips Event hours refer to time spent at a scheduled company-hosted event in which you previously enrolled (i.e., a Habitat for Humanity build). Independent hours refer to time spent on your own, outside of scheduled company-hosted events (i.e., helping in your child's classroom or attending a nonprofit organization's board meeting). Complete the required fields to record your volunteer hours. Click Save and Proceed. Review your activity and click Submit. The confirmation screen displays. 6
