1 SEARCHING & EDITING

2 You can search for items throughout the program in a few common ways. The most common search function is done from the Master Product list. Within the Master Product List you can narrow or sort your search by locating the specific item information you are looking for. All products (those you buy and those you assemble [Batch Recipes]) can be searched by sorting, lookup search or scrolling through the list for the item.

3 SORT SEARCH Click on the header name to sort product information by order of the specific category header. For example: If you wanted to find product by a specific vendor, you could click on the Vendor header. This will create a default view of all the products (alphabetically) listed by each vendor. LOOKUP SEARCH Click within the Search Box under each header and type the name or any portion of the name of the item you are searching for.

4 You can edit a specific product in two locations. 1. The Master Product List page. 2. The Recipe Page. EDITIING A PRODUCT EDIT AN ITEM FROM THE Master Product List You can edit an item in the Master Product List by locating the item and clicking on the Edit button on the left side of the list.

5 Upon clicking the edit button in your Master Product List you will be able to edit any Order Guide related item. Within the edit box you will have full access to all your items specific data elements. Simply click within the text field and make the changes needed. Once you are done click Save in the upper right hand side and your edits will be save. Note: you will not be able to edit a batch recipe item from this list. The only way to edit a batch recipe item is from within the recipe page. Any edits required on a Batch Recipe item must be made to the respective Batch Recipe itself.

6 PACK SIZE EDIT If you notice you are either missing pack size information or the information is inaccurate, you can find the appropriate pack size by typing all or some of the accurate pack size information that should be associated with your item. Type a portion the accurate info in the box or leave it blank and click down arrow to the right of the Pack Size field. Scroll to find the proper pack size and select it from the list by clicking on it. Once you click on the right pack size it will add that pack size info to the field. Now simply click Populate and the program will fill in the rest of the pack size information throughout the product description page. Click Save and you re all done.

7 EDIT AN ITEM FROM THE Recipe Page You can edit an item while building a recipe too. Occasionally you might miss that an item had inaccurate info until you add it to a recipe. Instead of having to go back to the Master Inventory List you can edit the product right from within the recipe build page. Each item added to any recipe allows you the ability to edit the item s information on the fly. When you add an item to a recipe and notice some of the information my be inaccurate, you can make the adjust right from the recipe page instead of going back to the Master Product List. To edit a product from within a recipe, click the INV button.

8 Once you have clicked the INV (Inventory button) the edit screen will appear. Here there are 4 editable fields that allow you to make edits. You can change a price, change the measure of unit from an Ounce to an Each, change the total number of recipe units or change your product yield to reflect accurate portion cost.

9 Another common search function occurs in the Recipes Page. Begin by opening the Recipes Page by clicking the yellow measuring cup icon (icon accessible on every page).

10 Once your page opens you will see a search box in the upper left hand side of the recipes list. Simply click within the search box and begin by typing a specific recipe name or part of a recipe name in the box and click the search icon on the right of the text box

11 As your inventory changes and recipes come and go, you will often fid a need to delete items. There are two ways to delete items from your master product list. 1. Individual item delete function. 2. Bulk item delete function. INDIVIDUAL ITEM DELETION To manage individual item deletion you will need to be in your Master Product List page. From within the product list itself, you will need to scroll all the way over to the right hand side of the screen. In the very last column you will see the Del (delete) button. Click on the button to permanently delete this item and erase it from your Master Product List.

12 As is the case with all deletions from you re your program, you will be prompted to confirm that you do really want to delete the item. Note: The Master Product List is your programs product data base. Deleting an item from here will remove it from everywhere and anywhere that it is located throughout the program. Including: inventory, recipes, reports, etc. However, you will notice there are options to delete items in the Recipe Page. Deleting an item from with a recipe will only delete it from the recipe, not throughout the program.

13 BULK ITEM DELETION At some point, the need may arise to delete multiple items from your Master Product List. In order to do this you will need to go to your Drop Down Menu box. From the Drop Down Menu box, select Product List. On the next sub- page, select Bulk Manage.

14 Now you can go through your entire list and by clicking on the corresponding Select Box next to the item(s) you wish to delete you can click and a checkmark will appear. When you are all finished selecting the bulk list of items you wish to remove, simply click the delete button in the upper left hand side of the page. You will be prompted once again to ensure these are indeed the items you wish to delete. Once confirmed, all items will be permanently removed from your Master Product List. Note: As with the Master Product Page the same sort and search functions apply here for easy lookup and sorting assistance.

15 Throughout the program many of the search and edit functions exist. The same logic applies. We have simply highlighted the most common search and edit needs most of our users want to use. But in addition to that common thread logic there is another function in the program that has extra features and functionality that we would like to cover here. The Drop Down Menu box. This menu box is the first icon located in your tool bar on every page of your program. The information is always the same and the functionality gives you the ability to do the following.

16 PRODUCT LIST On the Product List sub page you can easily add a new product manually or (as covered above) you can manage your product list for deletion in bulk. INVOICE LIST On the Invoice List sub- page you can quickly input a Manual Invoice. This is most commonly done when: You have a vendor not yet set up for EDI (Electronic Data Interchange. A vendor does not have the EDI technology to directly import into your program. You buy a recovery product or special source product like something from the grocery store or a farmers market for example. On this sub- page you can also click on Invoice List to get a recap of your recently loaded invoice by date, vendor, invoice number and invoice total.

17 Finally, from the Invoices sub- page you can also review your Mail List. This list will show you a list of all the vendors that are sending you invoices (or who isn t) to ensure all your invoices that should be uploading automatically are set up and being received into your program.

18 RECIPE LIST The recipe list allows some shortcut and addition search and edit functionality. The options in the Recipe List sub- pages are Maintenance and Export Recipes. In the Maintenance sub- list page you can manage your Categories which allow you to quickly view, add, edit or delete categories in your Menu Recipes and Batch Recipes Thresholds is the other sub- page function in the Recipes List. Thresholds are the default percentages attached to your recipes that make your recipes turn green, yellow or red. A default rule is set up automatically in the system. If you want to make them lower or higher or create a larger gap between red and green, this where you can do so quickly.

19 SALES LIST The Sales List allows for some additional short cutting, editing, deleting and viewing options. From within the sub- list of the Sales List you can input sales from your POS historic sales mix manually by clicking Manual PMix. Your PMix Loader allows you to manually upload a preformatted CSV sales report file from your computer files into your program with the semi- manual sales loader functionality. Finally, your Sales Summary sub- page allows you to quickly reference your last sales report that was loaded from your POS system. Consider this an easy way to ensure your most recent sales have loaded properly.

20 While much of the same functionality spans across the entire program there are subtle difference in the Maintenance Page. Majority of the Maintenance functions have been covered in the subsequent video and training page but there are a few that have not so we will cover them here. In the Maintenance Page there are some additional functions we will cover. The Highlighted functionality will be covered in this section.

21 RESET PASSWORD This function is pretty straight forward. By clicking on this icon you can enter in your new password and your password for login will be permanently changed. MANAGE PROFILE This function allows you to change, edit or view any of your account information attached to the program. CHANGE LOCATIONS This function is for administrators, master users and operators of multi- locations. By clicking on this icon you can switch back and forth between different locations attached to your user ID. A shortcut to this function also exists at the bottom of the main login page and by clicking on your location name in the top right hand side of all pages.

22 EXPORT RECIPES This function allows multi- locations to build a single program and then take the recipes (batch & menu recipes alike) and copy them to other locations in a simple way. Once you click on the Export Recipes icon you will land on a Bulk Recipe list page (similar to bulk manage product page). Here you can check the recipes you want to export and the location you want to export them to. Select items to copy to another location.
