4 How Drawbridge Works CONSUMER INTERACTION DATA PROCESS John checks his messages and the news on his smartphone while having breakfast. Each app John uses sends out ad requests to mobile ad exchanges. These ad requests include information such as operating system, time of day, IP address, make and model, etc. On his commute, John tries to beat his score in his favorite game on his tablet. Drawbridge observes ad requests with disconnected identifiers across apps, browsers, and devices, and begins correlating that data. Between meetings, John checks sports scores on his phone and looks up hotels for his next trip on his computer.
