3 Basic Configuration Creating and Managing Pages Click Settings in the navigation bar and click Manage Pages. From this page you can create a new page using the button in the ribbon or manage existing pages using the pencil icon. Click New Configuration in the ribbon to create a new page. Give a name to your page and select a layout template. To edit an existing page, click the pencil icon in front of the page. For each page zone, you can select existing configurations for the proposed components, like Data Viewer, Charts and others. Read the next chapter if you need more information about BPA Data Viewer. You can add new configurations by clicking buttons in the ribbon. Adding a tab, you can group many configurations in one single tab, like Data Viewers and Charts. Click Save when finished. 3

4 BPA Data Viewer The main feature to customize the content of your BPA solution is the BPA Data Viewer webpart. All lists displayed in your BPA solution are based on this web-part. With the BPA Data Viewer you can display SharePoint lists or detail views of a list item. You may add a BPA Data Viewer web-part on any web-part page of your BPA solution. To display a Data Viewer configuration, click Settings in the navigation bar and click Manage Pages. Pages are displayed by alphabetical order based on page name in the URL. Click the pencil icon to view Tabs and Data Viewer configurations in the different page zones. From this page you can create a new Data Viewer configuration using the New Data Viewer button in the ribbon or edit existing ones using the pencil icon. Drag and drop configurations like you want in the different page zones. Data Viewer configurations can be re-used on each page. 4

5 For each Data Viewer, you can define the list and view to display; define column alias or columns to be hidden; define page URLs and filters; display filter boxes, favorites or follow-up tasks; select actions (buttons) to be displayed. 5

6 Navigation Links With BPA Navigation Links you can create menu items for the Navigation on the left side of your BPA solution. You may create new menu items, delete or edit existing menu items, modify the sorting of menu items or create new headings to structure the Quick Links navigation. 1. Go to the Settings page and click on Quick Links. All existing Navigation Links and Navigation Link Headings are listed in the content area. 2. Click on the pencil icon to edit existing Navigation Links or Headings. 3. Click buttons in the ribbon to add a new Navigation Link or Heading. 4. Click the button to edit the default Navigation. Simply drag and drop navigation links or headings and save. 5. Click the button to edit the default navigation style. 6

7 Manage Content You can customize existing content by clicking the Settings button and the Site Content link. Adding new content is not authorized with a 365 app. You can customize existing content by clicking the related list. From this page, you can edit existing columns or create new ones. You can edit existing views or create new ones. 7

8 SMTP Server Add your SMTP server name if you want to use the embedded BPA Send feature. Click Settings and SMTP Server to add the server name. 8

9 BPA Office Connector BPA Office Connector provides the ability to copy Outlook content in BPA 365 apps and store context, including copying multiple s and linking them with a project, or adding an Outlook meeting and linking it with an opportunity.
