3 Site Title: Travel One Domain Name: travel.one Developers: Content Writer : Onil Pravasi/ Afshan Aslam HTML Coder : Luis Velazquez Graphics Designer: Robert Velazquez Marketing Head: Cesar Arroyo Focus: Travel One is an informational website which provides detailed information about selected cities from the US and Abroad. It is not an ordinary informational website, it is the place where you will find details about some of the most beautiful locations in the world. Travel One shows ten locations based on the experience of five individuals as they have visited all these cities themselves. These five adventurous individuals have spent a good amount of time in these places. These individuals have explored the beauties of these place and are now sharing their experience of visiting these cities. Travel One gives you information about the destinations which are both domestic and international. Travel One will also provide a clear 3

4 description of the different destinations and attractions located in each destination. The goal of Travel One is to provide the maximum amount of information about these tourist destinations to the tourists before they visit these places. This will help tourists with the problem of having to search for what to do after reaching their destination. Travel One will assist people with acquiring the knowledge of the places they want to visit prior to their visit so that they can manage their trip in advance. Design Goal: We want to make Travel One an aesthetic and inviting website. The website will have an unified look throughout. All the content on the web pages will consist of the same font-family serif. We may use image as text if the graphic designer and developers decide to do so. The headings will be of level 2 and they will have the same font-family throughout. The website will use breadcrumbs throughout to let users know where they are within the site. We will use a horizontal navigation with sub navigations. In terms of colors, we would like to use the color Gray. The combination we will be using are black, blue, gray, navy blue, silver, and white. Gray is a cool, neutral, and a balanced color, therefore it will attract different kinds of people. 4

5 Target Audience: Our goal is to provide information about each city for those traveling on a budget. Our targeted audience would be middle class to lower middle class families and adventurous youngsters as well. All the information provided on the website would be affordable to most of the travellers. Of course, international travel will be more expensive. However, if they do not wish to spend an immense amount of money, we also offer domestic destinations they can visit. Main Elements: 1. Home page 2. International Destinations a. 8 Content: The estimated number of total pages for our website is 11 to 13 pages which may be increased or decreased as per the requirement of the implementation of the web pages based on the content per page. 9 Limiting Factors: No options available to buy tickets to our destinations or events that we are advertising. No display of prices to our destinations or events that we are advertising. No granted permission to book a trip or make reservations on our travel site. People, who want packages including hotel, sightseeing, airfare etc., may not find it helpful as it only offers information about specific locations. Not listing all the popular places in the US and around the world, but only showcasing the details of the cities we ve been to so it limits the majority of possible destination choices for people. 9
