1 These Release Notes announce the distribution of Release 7.4 Commercial Update 4, which includes enhancements and problem fixes since the August 4, 2017 release of 7.4 Commercial Update 3. Important Note: After every suresmile update, we recommend clearing your browser cache to remove any remnants of the old version to optimize software performance. Enhancements Products/ Description suresmile & Patient Info New Patient numbering system improves patient privacy and shortens To improve patient privacy and shorten the, we no longer use the patient s initials as the basis of the. The new patient s are composed of an alternating string of randomly selected letters and digits. Note the will always follow the same pattern, a letter, a digit, a letter, a digit, etc., To avoid confusion, we do not use the numbers 0 (zero) or 1 (one). We have improved the quick search with the ability to search for a patient s first or last name. For example, for patient Lori Martin, you can search for Lori, Martin, Lor, Mar, or Mart, etc. (You must enter at least three letters.) You can also search using the patient s initials. 2 Enhancements Products/ Description #35448 suresmile & Surgical Treatment Converting presurgical simulation to post-surgical simulation is now simpler To simplify converting a pre-surgicalsimulation or setup into a post-surgical simulation or setup, we have moved the Convert to Post-Surgical button from the Surgery tab to the Order tab, where it is underneath the Copy Treatment Simulation button. #35397 suresmile & Staged Models Warning message added for aligner constraints with missing movements Since it is now possible to design aligner constraints that do not include all movement types, we ve added a warning message when you try to save an aligner constraint set with one or more movement types missing, just in case you ve done this in error. You can ignore the warning and save the aligner constraints set as is, or you can return to the aligner constraints set and add the missing movement types. This warning message appears for aligner constraints set saved as a template under preferences. The warning message also appears when you are setting the aligner constraints for a specific staged model. If you do not include all movement types, you may see a step up or jump in the last stage of a staged model series as the stage conforms to the target setup. #35362 suresmile & Product Notes Terminology updated in product notes for treatment simulations We corrected the terminology in the product notes for treatment simulations. 3 Enhancements Products/ Description #35468 suresmile & B B tray label now on gingival side The label text on B Trays is now on the gingival side instead of the occlusal side of the tray. This allows some 3D printers to print more efficiently and it makes the label easier to read when loading brackets. #35447 suresmile only / Wires Alias lingual brackets now supported As part of our support for Alias Lingual Straightwire Bracket System users, we have added an 18x18 CuNiTi/NiTi (.018x.018) wire as a choice in the suresmile software. This means you can now select this wire type during the order process for your suresmile lingual patients. #35393 suresmile only / Product Notes New rejection note We added the following new rejection note to suresmile indicating that if the scan has insufficient bracket coverage, the user has to rescan the indicated arch/arches. Here is the verbatim text of the new note: Provide: New surface scan Reason: Insufficient bracket coverage Action: Rescan the indicated arch/arches Due to insufficient bracket coverage, we are unable to register all of the brackets to the scan data. Please rescan the indicated arch/arches, ensuring that at least 75% of the brackets' surfaces are captured, along with three of the four bracket wings and at least either the mesial or distal bracket wall. 4 Product/ #35292 elemetrix only / Preferences "Clinic Multi Group" link changed to Clinic Single Group When a user with an Administrator role logged in and selected the Aligner Constraints tab on the Preferences page, the system displayed the link "Clinic Multi Group". This was incorrect, because multi-group aligner preferences are not offered in elemetrix. We have changed this link to Clinic Single Group suresmile & Attachments Confirmation dialog box no longer blocks your view when deleting an attachment When attempting to remove an attachment in full-screen mode, the confirmation dialog box appeared in front of the 3D model and blocked your view. You could not see which tooth you had chosen to delete. #35401 suresmile & Bracket Heights You can now choose a default bracket height set This problem fix addresses the issue where some practices had more than one bracket height set accidentally marked as the default set by the system during a system update. This caused a problem when you were creating a treatment simulation and you tried to select a bracket height set. The system displayed a warning message, but did not offer a way to select a single default bracket height set, meaning you had to assign bracket height values to each tooth manually. We have fixed this. Now when you attempt to assign a bracket height set to a patient, a dialog box opens with a drop-down list if more than one bracket height set has been marked as the default set for a doctor or practice, or if no bracket set at all has been selected. The drop-down list allows you to select a single default bracket height set. #35415 suresmile & Guide Tools Guide Tools palette no longer obscuring checklist Under certain conditions, when you opened the checklist, the Guide Tools palette obscured the checklist. 5 Product/ #35303 suresmile & B Status of B tray simulation now changes to "ordered" after exporting the B trays After you exported B trays, the status of the B tray simulation did not change to "ordered" until you manually refreshed the page by pressing the F5 key on your keyboard. Now the status refreshes automatically. #35438 suresmile & IPR Brackets / Attachments report now shows IPR The Brackets/Attachments report did not display IPR information. We have fixed this. Now the report is similar to the Staged Models report. If you have not yet approved the selected product, the report does not display any IPR information. Instead, a message indicates that IPR information is not available until you approve the product. If you have approved a selected product, but there is no IPR associated with the product, the report displays a blank IPR table. #35284 suresmile & Preferences Mirroring buttons now work for bracket height sets When creating a new bracket heights set on the preferences page, the mirroring buttons (the set of arrows in the middle of the tooth diagram) did not work. These mirroring buttons, which allow you to mirror bracket height values in one quadrant onto the adjacent quadrant, now function as intended. #35179 suresmile & Staged Models Default aligner constraints set now listed This problem occurred when you created staged models from a simulation for the first time. The selection drop-down list on the Aligner Constraints dialog box was blank. It did not show the default aligner constraints set or any other aligner constraints sets in the selection drop-down list. 6 Product/ #35418 suresmile & Staged Models Exporting staged model with attachments issue resolved We had one reported instance of the following reported problem: When the practice exported a staged model with attachments from the treatment planning workspace, the system generated the.stl files as expected. However, when the practice exported the staged models from the Patient Overview, the system generated.stl files with brackets instead of attachments. We investigated and resolved this issue. #35452 suresmile & Treatment Note/TAD complete functionality restored Dragging a Note/TAD from the Favorites palette to a tooth did not work. It only worked from the Tools palette. Now you can drag a Note/TAD to a tooth from both the Favorites and Tools palettes. #35072 suresmile & Web Browser Flag color picker now appears correctly in Firefox If you were working in suresmile or elemetrix using a Firefox web browser, and you clicked a flag button to assign a flag color, the small box showing your flag color choices did not open in the correct position. The Firefox browser now displays the box correctly. #35380 suresmile only / Reports Attention Needed report updated When running the Attention Needed report from the practice overview, if you selected a filter such as Submit order, the report returned different results than if you had selected the corresponding filter from the tasks page. We have fixed this so that the filters in the Attention Needed report and the corresponding filters in the Tasks tab return the same results. 7 Product/ #35361 suresmile only / Surgical Treatment Pre-surgical standard notes now correct The pre-surgical standard notes showed that the system incorrectly compared the treatment simulation against the plan instead of against the therapeutic model. Known Issues and Workarounds Workarounds Treatment Workspace Wrong image set shown when creating a plan When creating a plan based on a new therapeutic model with a new image set, sometimes the plan still shows the previous image set.
