3 About system System helps to create a research in electronic and easy way Access to the system Enter your user name and password (used in ) Update the user profile When you enter the system the first time you must update the following information: 1. Full Name in Arabic and English Sex. 4. Information communication. 1. Phone. 2. Mobile. 3. Fax. 4. The mailbox. 5. Workplace. 6. Job Title. 3

5 My proposal Page After create the request will show in main page for system. Steps for Create new Request 1. Click in Applications Select New proposal 2. Select the following points: 1. PROGRAM 2. TECHNOLOGY AREA 3. TRACK 4. SUB-TRACK 3. Enter the Proposal Title in English & Arabic. 4. Select College & Department. 5.Enter Date for Received 6. After check your Proposal information Click Save. 5
6 7. After Save Click Next. Project Information 1. Select Project Type. 2. Estimated Duration for Project Enter the total months of the project, And should not exceed 24 months 3. Enter the Proposed Starting Date for Project. 4. For Add Senior Personnel Click Add Senior Personnel. Should you have people in the Favorites list so you can Add Senior Personnel, You can add people in the favorite by clicking the link You can add more users to your favorite list. After clicking on the link, click Add, Use one of the fields then click Search To select a person, click on Choice icon And to delete person click on delete icon 6
7 5. And after the addition of people in the Favorites list Click Add Senior Personnel and then click on the icon next to the employee that you want to add it to the Select, and then click on Add. 6. To enable the new user to Edit in Proposal Click on Edit User Permission select Edit the Proposal then Click Save. 7. to Add Research Team Click on add Other Personnel Then choose your own job with the possibility of adding another job. 8. To Add Consultant Click on Add Consultant. 9. Enter Keywords for Proposal. 10. After Check all information for Project Click on Save and Next. 7
8 Summary Page (English) you Can In the Page Writing the project summary in English,Text format,insert images and links After check the Project Summary, click Save & Next. Summary Page (Arabic) you Can In the Page Writing the project summary in Arabic,Text format,insert images and links After check the Project Summary, click Save & Next. Introduction Project Page you Can In the Page Writing the project Introduction, Text format,insert images and links After check the Project Summary, click Save & Next. 8
9 Project Objectives you Can In the Page insert project objectives to insert Objective Click Add and Enter the following fields: 1.Objective Name. 2. Objective Description. 3. Approach of Achieving the objective. 4. Objective Weight. Note: Must be total weights for all project Objectives equal 100. You can edit the Objective by Click on or deleted by click on Must be each Objective have one phase or more, and Must be total weights for all Objective Phases equal 100 After check the project objectives, Click Next. Literature Review you Can In the Page Writing the Literature Review for project, Text format,insert images and links After check the project Literature Review, click Save & Next. Mapping Phases to Objectives you Can In the Page insert Phases to Objectives to insert Phases select Objective and Click Add and Enter the following fields: 1. Phase Name. 2. Phase Weight. Note: Must be total weights for all Phases equal 100. You can edit the phase by Click on or deleted by click on 9
10 Must be each Phase have one Task or more, and Must be total weights for all Phase Tasks equal 100 After check the Mapping Phases to Objectives, Click Next. Mapping Tasks to Phases you Can In the Page insert Tasks to Phase to insert Phases select Objective and select Phase and Click Add and Enter the following fields: 1. Task Name. 2. Task Weight. Note: Must be total weights for all Tasks equal 100. You can edit the Task e by Click on or deleted by click on After check the Mapping Tasks to Phases, Click Next. Research Methodology you Can In the Page Writing the Research Methodology for project, Text format,insert images and links After check the Research Methodology, click Save & Next. 10
11 Management Plan In this Page can be viewed and edited Tasks of the project staff, After check the Management Plan, click Save & Next. Project Work Plan In this Page can be Select start and end time for each task, and select Responsible for each task, by Click Project Deliverables In this Page can be Linked Project Deliverables to Objectives, by Click on select Strategic Goals and select Deliverables and Click Save and to select Objective Click on Add Outcome. After check the Project Deliverables Click Save & Next. 11
12 Value to the Kingdom you Can In the Page Writing the Value to the Kingdom for project, Text format,insert images and links After check the Value to the Kingdom, click Save & Next. Current Resources you Can In the Page Writing the Current Resources for project, Text format,insert images and links After check the Current Resources, click Save & Next. Requested Resources you Can In the Page Writing the Requested Resources for project, Text format,insert images and links After check the Requested Resources, click Save & Next. 12
13 Proposed Budget Edit details of a project budget 1. Manpower 2. Materials 3. Trips 4. Other things Grand total: cannot exceed the Grand total SR "2 million Saudi riyals" After check the Proposed Budget, click Save & Next. Budget Justification you Can In the Page Writing the Budget Justification for project, Text format,insert images and links After check the Budget Justification, click Save & Next. References you Can In the Page Writing the References for project, Text format,insert images and links After check the References, click Save & Next. 13
14 Send Proposal Click send to send the request and print to print the request After sending the request the you can be saved as Word By Click Applications and Click My Proposals, And Click Word icon to Save as word. User Profile You Can In the Page Edit your Information, by click Control Panel & User Profile. User Favorites you Can In the Page add favorites user by click Control Panel & User favorites. 14
15 Send Invitation You can invite people to the system from university or outside the university. By click Control and click Send Invitation. Note: Send invitation Does not mean the person who has been invited became Enabled Must enter the system by the invited and update the Information to be enabled. Sing Out To sing out click on sing out. 15
