2 1 In this pack you will find everything you need to support Practical Action in the promotion of our flagship event Nightrider The Practical Action team will be made up of 200 cyclists. Key messages about the event Long version useful for websites/marketing material Nightrider is an amazing cycling event with 4,500 cyclists taking to the streets of London overnight on 8 June Join Practical Action s 200-strong team in the event and enjoy the 100km route that takes in some of the capital s major attractions and sights, passing the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge. This is the third year of this fantastic event with more cyclists than ever and our biggest ever Practical Action team. Practical Action uses technology to challenge poverty in developing countries. Every year, Practical Action helps around a million people break out of the cycle of poverty.for good. We hope to raise over 60,000 from this one exciting night. 5 Practical Action Nightrider Social media Twitter Instructions Visit: to download the twitter background Log into your Twitter Account Go to Settings Click the Design Tab Click Change background image Click Browse and locate your image Twitter example Profile pictures Why not fundraise through your social media networks by changing your profile picture to include a personalised message. Instructions Open a new web browser and go to Follow the on screen instructions in Step 1: Upload images selecting your preferred profile image. It is recommended that you have this image sized appropriately for uploading to your profile. Follow the on screen instructions in Step 2: Set watermark to your images. Select Test watermark and insert your preferred text. i.e. I m cycling for Practical Action! Once uploaded, select the preferred alignment in the Watermark align option and click Continue. Follow the on screen instructions in Step 3: Save your images by either uploading your image directly to Facebook or by saving the image for uploading to your profile by selecting Download images to computer.
