1 Friends Reaching Kids (FRK) For Adopt a Club (AAC) FRK is a web based tool to help raise funds for AAC in a fun and interactive way The objective is to harness the power of relationship networking through viral marketing for AAC There are three ways to engage in the Friends Reaching Kids program 1. Donate 2. Start a team on behalf of a church or individual 3. Join an established team 1

3 To start, click on go to form a team 3

4 Make sure you begin by STARTING your church s team page, NOT joining a team. 4

5 Fill in Team Name and your fundraising goal, if church name is already used, add city name. 5

9 Double check your information and click complete registration 9

10 Notice now you are logged in. Click the link that says access your participant center 10

12 Type in a simple URL address for the team page, click save, a green message will appear, Next click team progress this is where you set up your team s page 12

Appendix A Entering text on your personal or team page It is suggested that you type your text in a notepad document and save it so that you can prevent data loss.

Here are the steps to open Notepad: Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Notepad 24

Here is a simple way to do this. Right Click on the photo you want to shrink. Notice my photo is 3.52 MB, which is too large. We want to shrink it to be able to place on the personal or team page. 26

27 Right click on the thumbnail of the photo, open with, then choose Microsoft Office Picture Manager to open it. This is the program that we will use to shrink the photo. 27
