1 Charity Engine A Step-by-Step Guide for Registering a Team, an Individual, and Joining an Existing Team **The corresponding picture for each step is placed BELOW the respective step** General Steps 1. Go to 2. Choose appropriate walk and click the button that says Register to Walk or Donate Here 3. Click Sign Up 4. Choose whether you want to register an individual, a family, start a new team, or join an existing team.

2 To Start a New Team 1. Select Start New Team and click Next 2. Create an account by entering an address and creating a password. If you already have an account (ie. If you have participated in a walk before), click the blue link under the next button that says sign in here. 3. Enter contact information. Red asterisks mean it is required. Click Next at the bottom of the page once all the information has been entered.

3 4. Enter emergency contact information and dietary restrictions if you want. It is not required. 5. Either choose to register a team member or click Done Move to Next Step. (*For this guide, I chose done move to next step )

4 6. Click Register 7. You will now be given the opportunity to customize your team page. You can edit the fundraising goal, the bio, and the profile picture. The default fundraising goal for a team is $1,000. Once you have updated/changed any information or chosen to keep it as is, click the button at the bottom that says Finish. 8. You should now see the final Congratulations page with the option to donate to your individual page or go to your dashboard.

5 To Register An Individual **You cannot choose to join a team through this registration process. If you want to join an existing team, you must select Join Existing Team. Guidance for that process is in the next section** 1. Select Register Individual and click Next

8 To Register an Individual for an Existing Team 1. Select Join Existing Team and click Next 2. Search team name and click the join button located to the right of the team name. 3. Create an account by entering an address and creating a password. If you already have an account (ie. If you have participated in a walk before), click the

9 blue link under the next button that says sign in here. 4. Enter contact information. Red asterisks mean it is required. Click Next at the bottom of the page once all the information has been entered. 5. Enter emergency contact information and dietary restrictions if you want. It is not required.

10 6. Either choose to register a team member or click Done Move to Next Step. (*For this guide, I chose done move to next step ) 7. Click Register 8. Customize individual page information and fundraising goal, if you would like. Once done, click finish.

11 Your Dashboard Once you have registered for a walk, you will be able to log in to your account and access your dashboard. It will look like the picture below. To Log In and Access Your Dashboard 1. Click on the link that was sent to your after registering. OR 2. Go to and click on the walk you are registered for. 3. Click on the button in the upper right corner that says Log In 4. Enter your and password. It will then take you directly to your dashboard.

12 Through your dashboard you can: 1. See all of your donations 2. Send a fundraising promoting your page s link to friends, family, coworkers, etc. 3. Edit your personal page (change your bio, fundraising goal, profile picture) 4. If you are Team Captain, you can edit the team page as well. 5. If you are Team Captain, you can see who your team members are.
