2 Scope TIQCon Total Integrated Quality Control for clinical laboratories. TIQCon is an external quality assurance program for clinical laboratories. Roche Diagnostics is the exclusive distributor of TIQCon. TIQCon is an independent worldwide service for a lab internal and external quality control service. TIQCon supports direct online instrument and LIS interfaces to import quality control results. TIQCon evaluates internal quality control results against international rules TIQCon creates peer groups out of worldwide global used control lots TIQCon evaluates internal quality control results against external peer group comparison Important notice: TIQCon is not intended to be used to verify or validate lab internal QC procedures. Neither shall it be used to make decisions and judgments on the release of patient results from the clinical laboratory. The data provided by TIQCon do not replace internal QC procedures of the individual clinical laboratory; neither EQAS nor other proficiency schemes. TIQCon TM lab chain manager page 2 from 8

3 TIQCon TM Lab Chain Manager Login TIQCon lab chain manager is a web based application. To select this application please enter tiqcon.com into the URL of your web browser and select TIQCon lab chain manager login page. The minimum browser version for this application is MSIE from version 8 on or Firefox from Version 16 onwards. Users with MSIE please kindly take care that the compatibility mode is switched off. The suggestion for optimal screen resolution is min. 1280x720 in wide screen. For login insert username, password and lab chain ID. The first Start page shows a list of all laboratories within the lab chain, all sub departments including their instruments. Beside each lab id, aligned right,an arrow icon is shown.

This icon establishes a direct link into the shown laboratory into TIQCon TM without any further login. In this case it shows the lab chain statistics (above row) against the peergroup statistic (row below) for any analyte / method measured

5 Evaluations TIQCon TM lab chain manager offers 2 different evaluations. Both evaluations are based on all labs belonging to the lab chain. Lab chain statistic This evaluation is similar to monthly statistics in TIQCon. In this case it shows the lab chain statistics (above row) against the peergroup statistic (row below) for any analyte / method measured within the specified control lot and instrument group. Module performance The selection must include month / year, analyte and lot to be evaluated. Press Select TIQCon TM lab chain manager page 5 from 8

In here all used analyzer/modules of all lab sections will be shown which are measuring ALBUMIN. The evaluation list is ordered by Laboratory in ascending order.

This evaluation shows the performance of this analyte on all instruments of all labs within the current lab chain. Columns Filtered checkbox Lab Instrument selects the instruments to be shown graphically below the table. A multi selection is possible up to 10 evaluations in 1 graph. The checkbox inside the header line enables / disables all selections. To update the graph below the button Evaluation has to be clicked. 7 Note : CVI and SDI are calculated based on the selected instrument peergroup. The last line of the data table shows the calculated Group results for this evaluation: N Mean SD CV Graph of evaluation Sum of column N Average of column Mean Average of column SD Average of column CV% The graphical representation shows the normalized curves for each selected analyzer. The horizontal scale for this evaluation is the Group results mean +/- 2,8* Group results SD and +/- 4,24 * Group results SD. The slope of the curve identifies the precision of results. 8 Basics User management List of user which have access to this lab chain. To add a new user please click the + icon inside the header line. Insert a user name, select the access rights (read/write/delete), select the desired language and the disred password to login. To save click the checkmark icon or cancel icon to canel the insertion.
