2 Boeing/ Responsive Website / Intergrated Logistics Lead by Example A business partner with the Boeing company wanted a new website to communicate with potential future Boeing leadership new ideas and resources to help shape their careers. The idea of future leaders was a perfect fit for future-friendly responsive web design and development. For some time I had been evangelizing the value of responsive and adaptive web. Now, I could lead by example. After reviewing requirements for messaging and content I designed a simple and fresh page layout that included three feature areas as well as a main navigation for supporting content. The challenge was to take a traditional made-for-desktop layout and build it using mobile-up design and development techniques. One way to accomplish this was to use a relatively new responsive framework, Bootstrap. The Emerging Leader website is the first website by C&IS to be developed and deployed using the Bootstrap framework. I teamed with Aquent designer Chris Newton to understand and exploit the Bootstrap framework. I took this opportunity to share my progress with our Responsive Design Workshop. I shared development techniques - successes and failures - with the workshop attendees. And I welcomed their feedback as well. This sharing and craving the critique led to some improvements in how the navigation and search was handled. The website is deployed and Lori is using it as a launching point for future emerging leader projects.

5 Website Design: Blayezr Media Group Sketching User Experience - this is the step between a requirements document and mock ups. After the wire-frame was approved by stakeholders, a prototype was built in HTML/CSS and jquery using the Twitter Bootstrap framework.

8 UI/UX design and front-end development: V2 Ecig Eccomerce Site V2 is a San Fransico based startup which partners with digital agencies and other E Cig online retailers and help them engage audiences. V2 asked me to re-design their old website. The new one had to be modern, simple, bold and clear about what they do. An important requirement was that it had to be responsive and adaptable to any device.

9 Online Web Application: Megellan Health Cared Web Application I focused on understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations through existing task, workflows, and feedback analysis in order to understand the impact of the current design on the audience. I came up with this layout and design

10 UI/UX design and frontend development: Explore St Louis Leveraging on cognitive architecture and human memory constraints for an older demographic group, I designed a layout that minimizes short-term memory load. I designed this screen so that it provides all information that a user may need at any given moment for understanding system status and making effective decisions. An intuitive hierarchy among all UI elements is optimized for rapid scanning.
