2 Introduction Storefront Product Pagination helps the customer to display desired number of products on single page. It loads the products dynamically upon the selection of number. Hence, no issues for blank page or 404 will be found. The Storefront Product Pagination app provides the feature to let the customers select the number of products to be displayed on a single page. It also includes buttons to first and last page. The products will be divided dynamically upon the selection. Benefits of StoreFront Product Pagination It includes a drop down to select number of products to be displayed on a single page. It has made navigation easy for customers. It adds functionality to the default pagination feature of Odoo. It has made Swapping easy between the first and last page of product listing. Here the pages load dynamically, hence, no issues like page not found or blank pages is there. Pre-requisites Following points must be followed before starting the plug-in installation: You should login as an Admin in Odoo. Check that your Odoo Instance is compatible for Storefront Product Pagination. An e-commerce module should be present in your instance to use this app. 2

3 Installation Installation Steps Step 1: Download and extract the zip file. Step 2: Check your Odoo add-ons path. It should be same as defined in Odoo Config file. Config files are mostly saved in /etc folder. For e.g. /etc/odoo.conf Open Config file: Give the command: sudo/etc/odoo.conf Config file content: addons_path = /opt/odoo/addons Step 3: Open Terminal and go to download location For e.g. if the download location path is: /home/odoo/downloads then the command to be written in the terminal would be: cd/home/odoo/downloads Step 4: Copy download modules to addons path Give the below mentioned commands to perform copy operation: $cd /home/odoo/downloads/website_product_paging $cd v8 $sudo cp website_product_paging/opt/odoo/addons Step 5: Restart Odoo server Step 6: Login with the admin credentials in your odoo instance. Step 7: Go to Settings/Update Module List. Click on Update button. 3

4 Step 8: Go to Settings/Local Modules Remove search filter. 4

5 Enter module name in the search box provided in the top right corner of the page. For e.g. here write website_product_paging. Click on Install button. 5

6 App Configuration Enable first and Last pager Go to Website Admin and there is Website Product Pager Settings. If one wants to show the buttons to jump to the First and Last page of the sequence then enable this feature. 6

7 Configure Website Product Pagination Go to Sales -> Configuration -> Settings. Look for Website Product Paging and click on Configure Website Product Pagination. 7

8 You will find a default created paging record Show. Click it to enter the edit view. You can edit the label name to be displayed at front end. It supports translation feature too. You can add/delete the items to be included in the pagination drop down. It is possible to set an item as default. Lastly save the changes. 8

9 Front End Features Move to the front-end Shop page. You will see a new pagination drop down menu with the label you have provided in the back end. The first and the last buttons will take the user to first and last page of the product listings respectively. The item selected from the drop down will display that number of products on the page. The pages will be loaded dynamically and hence, no issue of page not found or blank pages. 9
