1 Installation of Quin C You already know that Quin C is supposed to be the digital investigations bright future. It helps in providing the leadingedge experiences for improving the speed as well as quality of the users investigations. In order to get started with it, you first have to open the link given below: After opening the link, you will see the following screen: From here, you can download the free trial of Quin C that lasts for 30 days. After completing the free trial, you will require to add a license key in order to continue using the software. In order to initiate the download you have to click the DOWNLOAD button.

2 After clicking the DOWNLOAD button, the users get directed to another web-page. The link of that web-page is as follows: When this page opens up, you have to scroll it down and fill the required fields in the given form after reading the information provided on the page.

3 The form can be filled easily. You have to give the name of your organization for which you aim to use the software, then you first and last name of course and your professional address that is affiliated with you company. Then you have to enter the name of your country and check mark the option if you want to select the given option. In the end you have to click the submit button. After clicking the submit button, you will get the final download link.

4 When you click the given link, the download begins. Since the software is heavy (6.03 GB), so it might take a while to be downloaded. After the download gets complete, you get a zipped file named quinc. You have to unzip that file and select the option extract to quinc. Then you have to open the quinc folder. As soon as you open it, you get to see the following files.

5 Then you have to run the.exe file. If a dialogue box appears for asking for the permission to allow the program to make changes to your computer, you have to select the option Yes in order to install the program. After that, the following window appears.

6 You have to click the next button. After that accept the terms and conditions and again click the next button.

7 In the JAVA SE License agreement, you also have to accept the terms and conditions and then click the next button to proceed.

8 Then you have to click in the box where Default is written.

9 After that the PostgreSQL License agreement appears and you also have to accept that and then click the install button.

10 Then the installation begins.

11 You have to wait till the installation gets completed. During the installation process, another wizard of MOBILedit also appears; you also have to install that by clicking the next button.

12 After that you have to accept the agreement and click the next button. Then again click the next button.

13 Then you have to click the next button again. It s your choice that whether you want to create the desktop icon or not, so you can choose accordingly. Then let it be installed by clicking the next button.

14 After the completion of the MOBIL edit Forensic Express Setup Wizard, you have to restart the computer by selecting the option of restart and click the finish button. Meanwhile the Quin C Suite- InstallShield wizard also continues. In case the firewall blocks some of the features of the program, you have to select the option of allow access.

15 After the completion of the installation wizard, you have to click Finish. Then it asks for restarting your computer and you have to allow this.

16 After the PC restarts, you have to open start menu from the tool bar and select the option of Access Data. After that you have to right click on Quin C Server and select the option Run as administrator.

17 After that you have to wait for a while till the time the server starts listening. Then you have to start Quin-C.

18 As soon as you start it, you get the log in page in your browser. There, you have to enter the username and password and click the login button.

19 As soon as you log in, the following screen appears.

20 It takes a while to load the user, so you have to wait until the loading gets complete. After that you get Quin C s main page and you can start using the software.
