On the computer running your SQL server and Microsoft Dynamics GP, navigate to your Microsoft Dynamics GP install package (screenshots are from Dynamics GP 2015 on Windows 8.1 Pro). 2. Run setup.exe. You can install BizTalk Components only if you have Biztalk 2006 or later and Incoming- Outgoing Service only if you have Windows Message Queueing. 3 7. Enter the Windows account that will run the econnect Windows service. econnect installer service user screen 8. Enter the credentials to connect to the SQL server your Dynamics GP database is hosted on. econnect installer SQL connection screen 9. Select Install.

4 2 DOWNLOAD NEXONIA ECONNECT MODULE 1. Log in as an administrator to your Nexonia account. 2. Select the Integration tab in the main menu. Your account may have a custom name for this tab, such as "Dynamics GP." 3. Select Integration Setup > Edit Parameters > General. 4. Select the value econnect in the Integration Type field. Nexonia Integration Setup > Edit Parameters > General screen 5. Select your GP version. Options are GP 10, GP 2010, GP 2013, GP 2015, GP Select Download to the right of Nexonia econnect. 7. Leave this window open. You will need to come back to it later to complete configuring the integration.

5 3 INSTALL NEXONIA ECONNECT MODULE 1. Once the download completes, extract the downloaded zip file and launch the installer (Nexonia_eConnect2015.msi for GP 2015). 2. Click on Run and allow the installation. 3. Click on Next and accept the license agreement. 4. Select the destination folder and click on Next. 5. Click on Install to proceed, then click on Finish. 6. A shortcut is now visible on the desktop. 7. Open it to run the configuration. Nexonia econnect desktop shortcut

6 4 CONFIGURE NEXONIA ECONNECT MODULE 1. Create a user (name and password) and submit. Save the credentials; you will need them to configure the Nexonia web integration. Create user for Nexonia econnect module 2. Configure GP database setup: 1. Set Hostname in the format {DOMAIN}\{SERVER NAME}, e.g., TWOMFGSRV001\SQLEXPRESS.

7 Configure GP database setup 2. If you are unsure of your server name, it appears in Microsoft SQL Server Configuration Manager. In the example below, the SQL server name is SQLEXPRESS. 8 5. Choose the database that correlates with your company name in Dynamics GP, and ID is automatically associated with it. In the example below the company name/database name is TWO and its ID is Configure application setup: 1. Set an external port (cannot be 0). Nexonia econnect module database setup (continued) 2. The port you list here must be opened to incoming and outgoing traffic on the machine hosting the Nexonia econnect module (see Ensure Server Is Accessible Externally). Save the setup and close the window.

9 5 START NEXONIA ECONNECT MODULE 1. Navigate to the taskbar and open the hidden icons panel on the right. 2. Select the Nexonia icon and right-click on it. Nexonia econnect module taskbar icon 3. In the submenu select Start to enable the service. 4. With this submenu, you can edit the account (requires authentication to proceed), stop the service, or close it. 6 ENSURE SERVER IS ACCESSIBLE EXTERNALLY 1. The external port you entered in the Nexonia econnect module must be opened on the machine hosting the econnect module. Your firewall must allow both incoming and outgoing connections through this port. 2. Test the URI by accessing it in a browser on an external machine. 3. Your URI will follow this format: IP}:{PORT}/econnect (e.g., ). Your IT administrator may have set up routing so that your URI is a standard web address rather than an IP address. In the screenshot example, the URI is 4. If you are unsure of your domain IP, you can find it by running cmd.exe and entering the command ipconfig. The correct domain should be your IPV4 address. 5. You may see a certificate error or a warning saying this site is unsafe, depending on what browser you are using. This can safely be ignored. If you see the XML below, the Nexonia econnect module is running successfully. Accessing URI from external computer in Internet Explorer 11

10 7 CONFIGURE NEXONIA INTEGRATION SETTINGS 1. Return to the Nexonia Integration Setup > Edit Parameters > General page. 2. Enter the username and password you selected for the Nexonia econnect Module along with the Company ID number and your URI. 3. Your URI will be in the same format you tested: IP}:{PORT}/econnect (e.g., ) If your system administrator set up a standard web address, it will be in this format: Nexonia Integration Setup > Edit Parameters > General screen 4. Save your settings and return to the Nexonia Integration Setup screen. 5. Select the Configuration Sync tab. 6. Select Synchronize Now.
