These settings are the following: - Theme : coloured theme to change the appearance of the tool - Settings bar: allow the visibility of the settings "markets" and "lines" in a bar - Markets: determine which markets you want to use for your troubleshooting tool (Swiss market selected by default) - Lines: determine which lines you want to use for your troubleshooting tool (all lines selected by default) Remarks: - If you select all markets, it will slow a little the performance of the displaying - This welcome page will disappear after your first connection. You can anytime come back to the settings by using the settings button Picture1-1 -

2. Home Page (picture2) Once you have determined the options, you access the home page. This page will be visible anytime you will access the tool. On this page, different information is available.

On this page, different information is available. - 4 screens are dedicated to show the most consulted machines and symptoms, both by user and by markets (meaning the markets selected from the settings screen). Only the machines, not the symptoms, can be selected from these screens. - News concerning the modifications of the tool, new machines and new important diagnostics will also be visible on the home page (missing on the print screen). NB: the most consulted machines and symptoms are calculated on a weekly rolling base, which means that if you don't use the tool for more than one week, the user screens will be empty the next time you use the tool. On the left side, a menu is accessible for the selection of the machine. 2 selectors are visible: - Brands - Lines You can use more options for the selection of the machine. These options, available under the extended menu, are the following ones: - Type (sub-family of line e.g. Citiz & co) - Extraction system - Manufacturer code - Model - Colour of the machine - Colours group Picture3 To select a machine, you can start by using which ever option you want. The standard way to select a machine is to first select the brand. Once this is done, the machines of the brands are displayed (see picture3) on the screen depending on your settings. You can select directly the corresponding picture of the machine from there. If you need to reduce the number of machines, you can refine your selection by selecting the line or any of the available choices from the extended menu (see picture 4)

Select the different symptoms from the above window and look at the corresponding diagnostic for an answer. Pictures can also be visible depending on the diagnostic. You will recognise them whenever the symbol is visible. Click on it to visualize and to close the picture. On the left side of this window, you see the picture of the selected machine. Clicking on it will enlarge the picture. Below the machine picture are the corresponding data of the machine - brand and model - colour - line and type - extraction system - manufacturer code - international code Documents related to the machine can also be available (downloadable). These documents are the followings: - user manual - descaling manual - technical data sheet Some documents may be missing at the beginning and will be added later. NB: - Once a machine as been selected, the selection menu on the right is initialized and the machine selection can start again. - If you need to come back in the steps of the selection you have made, you can use the back (and forward) buttons of the internet browser you are using (Internet Explorer) - You can select the available languages on the top right corner. Depending on the language selected, some texts may not be translated. Therefore these texts will be shown in English with a small English flag

5 Picture Comparing machine models (pictures 6 and 7) It can be useful to search for the name of one machine in another country or brand. To perform such action, follow the next steps : 1. Check that the concerned markets are selected in the settings 2. Select the machine you want to compare (e.g. De Longhi red soft) 3. Check for its factory code (e.g. EF 474) Picture6-5 -

6 4. Select the same factory code in the extended menu 5. Select other characteristics if needed (e.g. colour, ) 6. Choose the list presentation from the menu bar Picture7-6 -

The buttons are: - Home: back to the home page - Show all: shows all machines (depend on the selected markets in the settings) - Settings: see chapter1 welcome page - Small, large and list: using these 3 buttons will change the way the machines are displayed in the window. NB: These 3 buttons disappear when a machine has been selected. - Search: this search engine allows searching for machines only (minimum of 3 characters). The brands, lines, types, manufacturer codes, models names, colours, colour groups can be used as search options. NB: at the launch of the application, the focus is placed by default on this search field, which allows you to type immediately what you are looking for.
