EasyRoyalties records sales figures, maintains author contracts, calculates author royalties and generates royalty statements. Powerful import & export tools to exchange your data with other systems. Rights Sellers optional module maintains a database of your rights sales clients & prospects, drives submissions follow-up, and provides tools to negotiate license terms and agreements. Produces business reports for company meetings or trade fairs, calculates royalties due on licensing activities and produces royalty statements for your authors or contributors. Rights Sellers comes with built-in, pre-defined profiles of languages (over 450), countries (all of them) and standard rights territories, and all international currencies. Maintains a database of permission purchases and sales for intellectual property included in your products or licensed to others. Royalty Portal allows authors to access their royalty statements from any web browser. 2. How much does it cost to upgrade to a higher license level? The upgrade price is the difference in price between the existing license and the new license. 3. What is the Database Review service? With the Database Review Service our support staff will review client provided files; the database file, import files and export files, to answer client questions. 4. Can I try the software before purchasing it? A free 30-day trial version is available. The trial version is a fully functional version of the software. You can import your existing data, calculate royalties and generate royalty statements. Download the 30-day trial version from 5. My free trial period has expired and I was too busy to evaluate the software what do I do? You can reinstall the trial version; this will reset the trial database. 6. I like EasyRoyalties but it needs to work with my other software applications. Can I do this?. The Easy Royalties import/export features allow you to share data with other applications easily. 5 Page 5 8. What implementation support is available? All clients have access to online documentation and our implementation manual. For clients on an Enhanced Support plan will provide guidance as you progress through the implementation process. Our staff will review your database file. We will import authors, products, and historical sales activity at no charge if the information is provided in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets formatted to our specifications. Alternatively, we can migrate your data for you. Whether your data is in electronic format or on paper we can get it converted. This includes authors, titles, historical sales, royalty contracts, historical payments, and starting balances. Kensai International offers a royalty processing service for clients in the United States. We add products, create royalty contracts, enter royalty advance payments, import sales, calculate royalties, and generate royalty statements as PDFs. Monthly we provide the client with a zipped (compacted) folder that contains a copy of their updated Easy Royalties data file, a folder with royalty contract PDFs, a folder with royalty statement PDFs, and an updated royalty contract summary report.
