1 MotionPro Android Release Note Release Date: June 26, 2015 Introduction This release document summarizes the device requirements, improvements and limitations for the release of the MotionPro Android Client The MotionPro client is compatible with AG 9.3 versions and later. To use the MotionPro Desktop feature, AG or later is required. Device Requirements Android 4.0 to 5.0 (software) Multi-touch screen ARM, ARM v-7 and Intel X86 CPU The MotionPro client has been tested on the following devices: Galaxy Tab GT-P3100 (Android 4.1.2) SAMSUNG GT-I9100 (Android 4.0.1) SAMSUNG GT-I9500 (Android 4.2.2) HUAWEI P6 (Android 4.2.2) Lenovo K900 (Android 4.2.2) LG Nexus4 (Android 4.4) LG Nexus4 (Android 5.0) It is expected that the MotionPro client can work properly on most Android devices meeting the minimal software requirement. 2 IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES Improvements The MotionPro Client is now supported on Android 5.0. Now, the MotionPro client supports actively and passively changing the passwords for the LocalDB, LDAP and SMX authentication (50967). Array Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. 2

3 KNOWN LIMITATIONS Enterprise Application Portal AAA It is highly recommended to enable the Auto Register function to avoid the following limitations: If DeviceID+Radius SecurID authentication is enabled, the device cannot be registered on the MotionPro client, the administrator must register it manually on the MotionPro Pilot. If DeviceID+SMX authentication is enabled, a user has to input SMX password again after device registration on their first login. Secure Browser Online video cannot be played in Secure Browser. Secure Browser history and downloads are not cleared when the MotionPro process is killed or the MotionPro client is uninstalled before logout of the current session. L3 VPN Split DNS is not supported on Android 4.4 or higher. If only desktop or remote application resources are configured, the L3VPN tunnel will not be established, so the Secure Browser and Native Application cannot work. The Web ACL function is not supported. On HaiWei P7, the added DNS servers due to the enabling L3 VPN tunnel will not be cleared from the routing table after user logout until the network changes. Enterprise Application Store After an application is downloaded, the user has to confirm the installation (this is restricted by the Android system). 4 Nesting Client Verification conditions are not supported. When the Client Verification condition is Device Passcode State: ON, only Pattern can be used as the passcode lock. Mobile Device Management The MDM service cannot automatically start after reboot of mobile devices if the mobile devices forbid auto starting applications at boot time. MDM cannot force an Android device to install or uninstall an application without confirmation of the user. As a result, the policy action auto-install will only prompt the user to install the application once. An application can be installed only after user successful login. The Android system supports multiple Device Administrator Applications that can define secure policies, and the system will always enforce the strictest policy. As a result, the action clear passcode may fail if another Device Administrator Application on the system requires the system to have a password. If the user does not check out from the MotionPro client and the device record is not deleted from the server side, the device status will never be set as unmanaged. If the user uninstalls the MotionPro client from the Android device, the information about managed applications will be lost and the server will not be informed of this event. The status of this device will become inactive on the server side after timeout. The MDM feature and the Certificate authentication cannot be enabled at the same time. MotionPro Desktop MotionPro Desktop does not support ART Device Identification. MotionPro Desktop does not support ART Client Verification. MotionPro Desktop does not support accessing multiple remote desktops at the same time. MotionPro Desktop does not support the SSO function for remote desktop. The MotionPro login password cannot be posted to the Microsoft RD client for authentication, so users need to enter the password manually to access the remote desktop. The Microsoft RD client does not support the Gestures in the DesktopDirect client. The Microsoft RD client cannot automatically reconnect to the remote desktop after the MotionPro client reconnects to a server successfully. Array Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. 4

5 The Microsoft RD client cannot disable the clip board redirection. The following settings in the Client Settings of DD Pilot are not supported: Keep Alive Interval Console Connections Resolution Color Depth Enable Bitmap Caching Hide Connection Bar RDP Agent Citrix Client Idle Timeout Life Timeout Please do not input the username including 2-bytes characters.
