5 I-Queue for Print Servers (DRE) The features of I-Queue are now available to users printing in environments with print servers: Nuance I-Queue printer acts as universal printer Single print queue across all printers For environments using printer servers, users can select and add an I-Queue printer to their workstation. 7 Enterprise Licensing Features Grace Period for Unlicensed State A grace period of 14 days has been implemented whereby added new users that exceed the entitlement limit will be allowed full access to the system during the grace period. If corrective action is not taken within the grace period, the software will enter an unlicensed state. Over-usage Limit Increase The enterprise licensing system will now allow a customer to go up to 10% over their limit before they enter an unlicensed state Nuance Communications, Inc. 8 Licensing Improvements SBE/SCE increase to 25 devices For Equitrac Office Small Business Edition (SBE) and Equitrac Express Small Campus Edition (SCE), the device limit is increased from a maximum of 10 to a maximum of 25 devices. 9 Mobile Web Release Enhancements Multi Release Support for Embedded /ID Controller and Web Release (includes Mobile Web Release) Allows users to release their jobs on MFP s and SFP s by both embedded or ID Controller (ie Swipe & Release All), as well as Web Release (which includes Mobile Web Release). Mobile Web Release Configurable Timeout Option Admins can now configure a timeout option for Mobile Web Release where the timeout parameter can be chosen for either a public device or a private device Nuance Communications, Inc. 10 Management Improvements Web-based System Manager Edit Delegates and Department Manager In the web-based system manager, Admins can now add/delete/modify Delegates and Department Managers. Improved Security for DCE Cache Offline caching credentials on DCE are now hashed with the SHA 256 algorithm. 11 Management Improvements Improved Tracking of Local Printers Given there is a workstation with an Equitrac client, when a USB printer is connected, then the unique device ID is recorded and added to the registration information that is displayed as part of the device information. Support iprint Tracking for 64-bit Windows Desktops Support for iprint printing from 64-bit desktops has been added. 12 Management Improvements Web Client Performance Improvements The Web Client login process and System Manager items have been improved with regards to speed and responsiveness. The amount data on the network has also been optimized to increase speed. 13 Management Improvements Removal of LDAP Persistent Search Timing Option The option for LDAP Persistent Search Timing has been removed and the notifications are now handled immediately. Windows Firewall Exceptions The installer adds port and protocol exceptions to the windows firewall dynamically based on the Server Components sub-features selected for incoming connections.
