1 Update V now available. Here are your CRITICAL TASKS for this update: TASK #1: Update ShipRite Software. TASK #2: Setup USPS Endicia LabelServer TASK #3: Verify new Priority Mail rates. TASK #4: Review Release Notes THE DUE DATE IS SEPTEMBER 7th! PLEASE NOTE: Our instructions are easy, detailed and comprehensive. Anyone should be able to follow the instructions. HOWEVER, we understand that some people will not want to go through the procedure. If that is the case, you may contact ShipRite by filling out the support ticket form on our contact page to make an appointment for us to log in and do it for you for a service fee of $ TASK #1 The first task is accomplished by performing your program update on your ShipRite server. If you have a network, make sure ShipRite is closed on all stations. If you only have one computer, that will be called "SERVER." Before installing any updates, you should always back up your software first. For instructions on how to do a backup and setup an automatic backup routine, follow this link: To PERFORM THE UPDATE IN SHIPRITE: 1. Close the ShipRite program on all your computers before performing this update. 2. Download the Update: 3. Click the <Run> button when prompted. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen. When installing the update you will be prompted to install ShipriteNet: ShipriteNet module Even if you have installed this utility on previous updates, it is required that you go through the prompts on your screen to run and install it again. This utility has to be installed on each workstation that is running ShipRite. After updating the server, the first time opening ShipRite on a workstation a prompt will appear to install the ShipRiteNet module automatically. Click YES and install it. Clicking NO will let you temporarily get around that message and open your software. However the functionality will be limited to POS transactions and price lookup, label printing will not function until the ShipriteNet module is successfully is installed

If after the successful installation of the ShipriteNet module, you keep getting prompts to repeatedly install it, check the following: If the problem is on a workstation, look at the ShipRite version number on that station and make sure it matches the one on the server. When you first open up the ShipRite Global Connect software, on the top bar, behind your store name you can see the current version number. It should on all computers. If the workstation is displaying an older version number, then right click on your ShipRite icon on the desktop and select Properties. The target needs to point to the srpro.exe file that is located on the server and cannot point to the srpro.exe file that is located on the local C drive. 2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the ShipriteNet module. Click on your windows start menu and go to Control Panel. Select Programs & Features. Find ShipRiteNet on the list, right click on it and select Uninstall. Once it s uninstalled, open ShipRite and upon opening you will be prompted again to install the module. Go ahead and do so. If you still encounter problems, then please open a support ticket. In order for us to effectively answer and help with issues, please be as descriptive as possible. ShipRite Pro DLL Updater When starting ShipRite for the first time the bellow message will pop up: Even if you are not using SmartSwiper to process credit cards, still click <OK> on this message.

3 The Shiprite Pro DLL Updater utility will open up. Click <Next> and follow the prompts on the screen to complete that installation. Once complete click the <Finish> button to finalize and close out the DLL updater. ShipRite can now be started again. A prompt will appear on each workstation to run the same DLL updater. The DLL update install needs to be completed on each workstation. If you use SmartSwiper to process credit cards: Once ShipRite is open a message will show informing of the SmartSwiper Update File. Click OK. Another message will pop up informing of Database Updates that have processed successfully. In some cases it is possible that the following error is displayed. If it is, click OK, and continue on. The error is inconsequential.

4 Once ShipRite is started, go to Actions -> SmartSwiper CC Processor to open up SmartSwiper to initialize the changes. Once SmartSwiper is open, click the Exit button to close it back out. At this point there is another possibility of an error message being displayed. Click OK and ignore it. It will only display the first time SmartSwiper is exited and will not show again. You are now ready to start using ShipRite. TASK #1 IS NOW COMPLETE. Task #2 Setup Endicia LabelServer We are proud to announce our new web integration with Endicia LabelServer. With this integration ShipRite connects directly to the Endicia server to print 4x6 USPS labels, domestic and international. The Dazzle software is no longer required to run in the background. To setup Endicia Label Server: From the main ShipRite screen go to Setup -> General Setup Options -> Carrier Setup -> USPS. Select the SETUP Endicia Label Server option Enter your Endicia Account Number and Pass Phrase into the corresponding textboxes. REMEMBER: Pass phrases are case sensitive. If you don t know your account number and pass phrase, open up the Dazzle software and on the top menu select Postage -> Account Setup. The Account number and Pass Phrase can be found there.

5 Once entered click the Save Credentials button Click the Ok button to proceed. Click the Select button next to the Get status of your account. This will verify that you entered the correct account number and pass phrase. The screen will show your current Endicia account balance. If the current $ balance is not displayed and a note is shown that incorrect info has been entered, go back to the Change your account pass phrase option and backspace out the wrong pass phrase and enter the correct one. Finally, make sure that the correct label printer is selected. Click on the <Local Features> tab and check the PRINTER Eltron/Zebra option. This option has to display your actual label printer and cannot be set to an LPT port (LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, ) If it is currently set to an LPT port, click on the drop down list and select your label printer name. Your Endicia Label Server integration is now setup.

6 Processing USPS Shipments. The procedure of processing shipments remains the same and will be now identical to processing a UPS or FedEx package. After entering in the To and From address in the Ship One screen, and selecting the USPS service, you have to click the Go Online Now button to get a label printed. If you are running low on postage or do not have enough postage in your Endicia account, you can click the Buy Postage button to add more money to your Endicia account. Voiding Shipments / Postage Refunds To void shipments and get a refund for printed postage go to the main ShipRite screen and on the top menu select Actions -> Shipment History. Select the shipment there and click the Delete button on the top menu. This will void out the label and request a postage refund through Endicia.

7 End Of Day - Scan Sheet ShipRite has now the ability to print a scan sheet for the postal carrier. When the postal carrier picks up shipments, select the EOD button on the main ShipRite screen, select USPS, and click the Manifest button on the top menu. This will print a scan sheet with one barcode for the carrier to scan. With one scan, all shipments that the carrier is picking up will be logged as accepted by the USPS. If Customers and recipients track their shipment on USPS.com, they will know instantly that their package has been picked up by the USPS. Task #3 New USPS Priority Mail Rates Make sure that you have the correct Priority Mail Rates loaded. Go to Actions -> Table Management -> Service Tables -> USPS-PRI
