Part Five Manual setting of port forwarding via the routerr 1 If the auto-link cannot work well, probably is because your router doesn t support UPnP function. Therefore, the manual port-forwarding is needed to link IP camera with the internet and make remote live view possible. Some routers support UPnP when Ethernet cable connected with the IP camera, but no UPnP function while link via WiFi. For this case, the Auto Link function cannot work as well and manual setting is necessary to imply. 2 First, you have to enter the setting page of your IP camera via your computer. Find Network page and get into UPnP setting page. 1. Enable the UPnPP function=> check On. 2. Assign the numbers for HTTP ports, and make sure the number range within 1024~65535. These numbers would be the external ports of the port-forwarding. 3. Remember this number and also the IP address of this camera. => You could find the IP address here. Tips: If you only have one device in the local network, you could keep the port number as default. Otherwise, changing them as other numbers would be highly recommended.

3 Second, get into the setting page of your router. 4 1. Find Port Forwarding page. 2. Input HTTP, RTSP port into the right space and make them the same with the port number of the IP camera. 3. Input the IP address of the camera into the right space. 4. Check the enable box. 5. Follow above steps to do port-forwarding of other IP cameras. Tip: Different routers have different interface, please refer to the manual of the router to find the setting page.

5 Get to the Internet connection page to get your Internet IP address. 6 Input the Internet IP address and port information into Add a Camera page. Fill in IPCam Name, ID & Password and tap Save to finish the process. Tips: If you have floating IP address, you may need to come back to this page to modify the IP address after finding your live view lost.
