Part One To Add a Camera and See the Live View 1 Download app CamZaview from itunes app market. 2 Please make sure your IP camera is well connected to the router and the power. Besides, make sure your mobile phone is under the same network environment. Tips: 1. Open Wifi function of the router and make your mobile phone link with it. 2. UPnP-supported routerr is highly recommended. 3 Start CamZaview and you would see the Camera List as the first page. Touch on the icon your camera in the view list. to add
4 If you have already known the IP address, Port information. Touch the blank column to input all the information, the IPCAM Name, the ID and the Password. Model Name would be filled in by the system automatically when the camera is added successfully. If you don t know what to do, touch to find a camera from local area network (LAN). 5 CamZaview would list all the cameras which are connected to the local area network (LAN). Please choose the camera you want to add.
6 The Model Name, IP address, Port information would be automatically copied to the Add a Camera page. Now assign the IPCam Name and set ID & Password instead of default words (unknown& admin) ). If you don t need to do remote live view and only want to see the live view within local area network (LAN), you could touch Save button and finish the camera adding. If you want to do remote live view, touch the Auto Link button to start the autoconfiguration. 7 If the connection success, the public IP address & port information would be shown as above illustration. Then touch Save to finish the process. You would see the new cameraa added in the camera list. Tip: If the Auto Link function cannot work, please check Part Five Manual setting of port forwarding via the router
8 Repeat above steps to add other cameras you want to view in the same network environment. You could add up to 16 cameras in your mobile phone. Notice: the quality of live view would definetely affected by both the number of the added cameras and the bandwidth your mobile exposure to. 9 Tap on to entre Live view page. There are 4 channels in one page and you could see other channels via finger brushing on the screen. The bigger dot indicates the page you stay.
10 Tapping on any channel would get the solo live view window. Tap on icon could edit the internet setting of each camera. Keep your finger pressing the icon, you could drag the camera and change its order on the camera list. Tip: If your Internet service provider(isp) provide a floating IP, you may loss the connection with camera when IP address changes. For this case, need to do the auto link again to find back the public IP address.
Part Two What You Could Do with the Video? The functions are shown as below: Snapshot Recording Audio-in PTZ Camera setting Video Information Tap on icon and CamZaview would do the snapshot. You could go to your album to find the image you shot.
Tap on and CamZaview would start to do manual recording. When recording, the icon shows red. Touch the icon again to stop recording. The video would be recorded in the local storage device of the camera. You could go to your album to find the video you made. Tip: 1. How to do playback? See Part Five. 2. Before you use Recording function, please make sure the camera do have a SD card inside or already link with other storage devices, e.g. NAS. 3. If you forget to stop recording, CamZaview would stop automatically after 5 minutes in case storage space wasted. Tap on would get audio via IP cameras. Tap on the icon again to turn of the audio function.
Tap on to do PTZ from IP cameras. Tap on the icon again to turn of the audio function. Tip: This function is subject to specific models of the IP cameras. Tap on would get into camera setting page. In this page you have following settings. Brightness: movethe bar to adjust the brightness. Contrast: move the bar to adjust the contrast. SD card: check the box to switch on/off the SD card function. NAS: check the box to switch on/off the NAS function. IR LED: check the box to switch on/off the IR function. Touch Advanced setting button to do more settings of your IP cameras. A website browser would be open and link directly to IP camera setting interface via the internet. Tip: 1. Remember to save the setting before you leave this page. 2. The system needs couple seconds waiting time for each adjustment due to the reaction sending from remote camera device.
Tap on icon would get the information regarding model name, IP address, port and FPS. Touch again to hide it. Tips: FPS stands for frames per second.
Part Three How to Get Push Notification? 1 To get push notification, you have to activate Motion detection function in your camera setting interface. 2 Then go to Event section to activate event server(nas) or SD card. Notice! If there is not NAS or SD card with the camera, the Push Notification cannot be activated.
3 After adding the cameras into the Camera List, you could tap on to activate push notification function. When it is activated, the icon would turn to be. : A textt message would be displayed below the IP camera name and indicate the time the latest motion detection been activated 4 When the motion detection been activated, push server would send a notice to your mobile phone and shown on the top of the screen. And there would also be a Notification pop out automatically. You could touch Close to close the notice or touch Load to check the video.
5 Brush the screen from top to down, you would see the notification sent from the push server. Tap on to playback the video and see what happened when motion detection had been activated. 6 Touch icon and you could download this video from your camera to the mobile phone.
Part Four How to Do Playback & Other System Settings In Camera List page, choose the camera you want to see and tap on it. You would enter the recording list of that camera. Choose the file you want to see and tap on it to do the playback. The banner at the bottom provides sorting functionn of the recording list. For example, tap on could sort out all the manual recording files.
Tap on could sort the recording files by date. You have to choose a date first and CamZaview would list all the files recorded on that day after. Other Camera settings. Alert Sound: Check the box to switch on/off the sound of the IPcam notification. Auto Lock: Check the box to switch on/off the auto lock of the screen. When it is on, the screen lock would not be activated automatically and would not suspend the video playing or live viewing.
Part Five Manual setting of port forwarding via the routerr 1 If the auto-link cannot work well, probably is because your router doesn t support UPnP function. Therefore, the manual port-forwarding is needed to link IP camera with the internet and make remote live view possible. Some routers support UPnP when Ethernet cable connected with the IP camera, but no UPnP function while link via WiFi. For this case, the Auto Link function cannot work as well and manual setting is necessary to imply. 2 First, you have to enter the setting page of your IP camera via your computer. Find Network page and get into UPnP setting page. 1. Enable the UPnPP function=> check On. 2. Assign the numbers for HTTP ports, and make sure the number range within 1024~65535. These numbers would be the external ports of the port-forwarding. 3. Remember this number and also the IP address of this camera. => You could find the IP address here. Tips: If you only have one device in the local network, you could keep the port number as default. Otherwise, changing them as other numbers would be highly recommended.
3 Second, get into the setting page of your router. 4 1. Find Port Forwarding page. 2. Input HTTP, RTSP port into the right space and make them the same with the port number of the IP camera. 3. Input the IP address of the camera into the right space. 4. Check the enable box. 5. Follow above steps to do port-forwarding of other IP cameras. Tip: Different routers have different interface, please refer to the manual of the router to find the setting page.
5 Get to the Internet connection page to get your Internet IP address. 6 Input the Internet IP address and port information into Add a Camera page. Fill in IPCam Name, ID & Password and tap Save to finish the process. Tips: If you have floating IP address, you may need to come back to this page to modify the IP address after finding your live view lost.
