Enter the respectve URL nto the address feld of your browser. 1.1 Applcaton of ths manual Please read ths manual through completely before operatng the IP Camera. Please also read the nstructon manuals of the accessores, f avalable. The manual s a component of the product. When passng the IP Camera on to a thrd party, ths manual must be passed on as well. 1.3 Glossary - Defnton IP Camera Network-compatble camera to transmt mage data to the HomePlot. HomePlot The HomePlot s a central controller unt for RADEMACHER rado products. Control s carred out va a tablet PC or Smartphone. User nterface The software for confguraton of the HomePlot. LAN (Local Area Network) Abbrevaton for a wred, local computer network WLAN (Wreless-LAN) Abbrevaton for a local rado network WPS (W-F Protected Set-up) Drect and safe connecton of two devces n a rado network wth the help of the WPS functon. 5

3. System requrements You requre the followng to regster the IP Camera 9483: Internet access. A router* wth DHCP server and a free LAN port. A freely accessble mans socket (230 V / 50 Hz). A commercally avalable standard computer wth current web browser. A HomePlot wth software verson 3.2 or hgher ** The HomePlot must be connected to the router and be accessble n the network va computer. * or DSL modem wth router functonalty. ** You can fnd the current software verson for the HomePlot under: Confguraton / System / Frmware Update / dsplay rght 4. Prerequstes for confgurng the IP Camera settngs Condtons for confgurng the IP Camera 9483 settngs: The IP Camera must be logged-on to the HomePlot. The IP Camera and the HomePlot must be n the same local network (LAN or WLAN). Confguraton va WR-Connect s not possble. The confguraton software of the IP Camera must be accessed n the local network. The IP Camera must be connected to a 230 V / 50 Hz mans socket and be swtched on. Condtons for ntal nstallaton of the IP Camera 9483: The camera must be connected to the network router wth a LAN cable for the ntal nstallaton and to confgure the WLAN settngs. 7

5. Openng the confguraton software of the IP Camera The IP Camera and the router are regstered n the same local network and the user nterface of the HomePlot s dsplayed n your browser. 1. Open the "Confguraton" menu. The connected IP Camera s selected drectly and the camera mage wll appear n the rght column. You have the followng optons: Open detaled vew Enables you to confgure the camera settngs. Edt Enables you to change the name of a regstered camera. 8

5. Openng the confguraton software of the IP Camera 2. Select "Open detaled vew". Next, the IP Camera's regstraton menu wll appear: 3. Enter the user name (see default factory settngs) as well as the password and select the desred language. Factory settngs: User name: admn * Password: rademacher ** * The user name cannot be changed. ** The password can be changed at any tme va the "System - Edt" menu. 9

5. Openng the confguraton software of the IP Camera If you already set a password durng regstraton of the IP Camera, you must enter ths password. Have you forgotten your password? Reset the IP Camera. Resettng the IP Camera Press the RESET key for approx. 5 seconds wth a thn but not too ponted object. The camera wll then be reset to the default factory settngs. RESET key 4. Select "Save" to prevent ths wndow from reappearng when next dallng-n. 5. Select "Regster" to swtch to the man menu. 10

5.1 The IP Camera's man menu All camera and network settngs can be accessed va the task bar at the top of the screen and n the rght column. The menus and settng optons n the man menu. Parameters - Camera OSD Moton Detect Cover Area Parameters - Network Basc Settngs Every settng can be saved by clckng on "Apply" System User Tme settngs Intalsaton Devce nformaton System log Wreless For your settngs to become effectve, you must save every settng/ parameter by selectng "Apply". Alternatvely each settng/parameter can be deleted by selectng "Cancel". 11

5.2 Parameters - OSD IP Camera Bref descrpton Actvate or deactvate addtonal nformaton n the mage. The followng settngs are avalable: Tme stamp On/Off The date and the tme are dsplayed wth the tme stamp Camera name On/Off A text box wth the current camera name. Name A name for the camera can be entered nto ths text box. Postonng the text boxes by movng them The two text boxes "Tme stamp" and "Camera name" can be moved and postoned n the mage. The date and tme can be adjusted at any tme va the "System - Tme settng" menu, see page 17. 12

5.3 Parameters - Moton Detect Bref descrpton The camera has an ntegrated dgtal moton detecton functon. As soon as moton s detected n a marked mage secton, ths movement can be used as "Automaton for scenes" n the HomePlot. The mage secton that s to be montored can be freely selected. The followng settngs are avalable: Actvate Actvate or deactvate the functon. Select one or more mage sectons n the grd Clck and hold the mouse whlst movng across the mage secton that s to be montored. The areas selected n the grd wll colour n red. Only the areas marked and hghlghted n red wll be montored. You can select and mark multple mage sectons. Sensblty Set the sensblty of the moton detecton: Very Hgh / Hgh / Normal / Low Select all The whole screen s hghlghted n red. Clean all The areas prevously marked and hghlghted n red are deleted. 13

5.4 Parameters - Cover Area Bref descrpton By blackng, up to four mage sectons can be excluded from montorng. The followng settngs are avalable: Regon 1-4 Actvate or deactvate the regons. A black square wll appear on the screen for each regon. Manually enlarge or move an mage secton The black areas can be moved freely and postoned on the screen. In addton, the areas can be manually enlarged or made smaller. The mouse cursor wll change correspondngly by hoverng above a black square wth the mouse. Legal requrements The IP Camera must not be used to montor publc areas. Use ths functon, e.g., to exclude such area from the montorng. 14

5.5 Parameters - Basc Settngs Bref descrpton The IP address of the camera can be set here. The settngs apply for the LAN and WLAN (wreless) network. The WLAN functon s nactve as long as the IP camera s connected to the HomePlot wth a LAN cable. The followng settngs are avalable: IP Type Fxed IP Address Should you select ths functon, further text boxes wll open so that the IP address can be set manually. Dynamc IP Address (RECOMMDED) The IP address s automatcally determned and allocated. DNS Type (DNS = Doman Name System) Manual DNS Should you select ths functon, further text boxes wll open so that the DNS server can be set manually. From DHCP Server (RECOMMDED) The DNS address s automatcally determned and allocated. 15

5.6 System - User Bref descrpton An ndvdual access password can be entered here for the IP Camera. The followng settngs are avalable: Password - Verfy password Enter the password n both text boxes. Maxmum number of characters A maxmum of 16 characters can be entered. Umlauts cannot be used. Secure passwords Please enter a secure password. Secure passwords consst of a combnaton of dfferent characters (letters / specal characters and numbers). Do not use any personal detals, e.g. brthdays. The user name cannot be changed. 16

5.7 System - Tme - Settngs Bref descrpton Settngs can be carred out here for the IP Camera's nternal system tme. The followng settngs are avalable: Date and tme - (only dsplay) Dsplays the current date and tme. Server name If requred, an nternet server can be entered here from whch the current unversal tme s obtaned. Factory settng = tme.wndows.com Interval Select the nterval at whch the tme should be updated. Factory settng = 2 hours Tme zone Select the tme zone n whch the IP Camera s nstalled. Factory settng = (GMT+01:00) AmsterdamBerlnBernRome... Automatcally adjust summer / wnter tme Actvate or deactvate the functon and select the nterval (30 mn. / 60 mn.) to adjust ths. Factory settng = 60 mn. Automatcally update tme Actvate or deactvate the functon. 17

5.8 System - Intalzaton Bref descrpton The IP Camera settngs can be saved here or, f requred, be reset to the default factory settngs. The followng settngs are avalable: Reboot The IP Camera s rebooted. Factory Default The IP Camera settngs wll be reset to the default factory settngs. Backup data The backup data for your camera settngs can be created and saved here. Restore Input prevously created backup data. Upgrade Open and apply an update fle of the settngs programme. Programme updates are regularly publshed on our webste and can be downloaded from: www.homeplot.de/downloads 18

5.9 System - Devce Informaton Bref descrpton In ths menu, varous status nformaton regardng the IP Camera and the network s dsplayed. No addtonal settngs are avalable. 19

5.10 System - System log Bref descrpton All events are recorded n a "log fle" and saved. E.g., actvaton of the moton detecton. In ths menu, specfc events and perods can be searched wthn ths "log fle" and can be dsplayed n the form of a lst. The followng settngs are avalable: Tme Enter the perod n whch an event should be searched. Type All = All events are dsplayed Alarm = All motons detected are dsplayed. Operaton = All settngs are dsplayed. Search Press the "Search" button to open the selected lst. Clean Delete the log fle. Navgaton wthn the lsts Under the lsts, you wll fnd varous dsplays and buttons for further navgaton wthn the lsts. 20

5.11 Wreless (WLAN) Bref descrpton The IP Camera can be logged-on to an exstng rado network here. Prerequstes for wrless (WLAN) The wreless (WLAN) functon s only actve f the LAN cable s pulled out of the camera after completng the settngs. The followng settngs are avalable: Wf enabled The WLAN functon s actvated by tckng the box. Current network - (no settngs possble) Status nformaton on the current WLAN rado network. SSID / Auth mode / Password Manual entry of the data for an exstng, local rado network. Search Automatcally search exstng, local rado networks. Subsequently a wndow wth exstng, local rado networks wll appear. Select WLAN rado network Enter WLAN access password 21

5.11 Wreless (WLAN) Select a rado network and connect 1. Select the desred rado network. 2. Press "Connect". A new wndow wll open. 3. Enter the access password for the selected rado network and confrm by selectng "OK". 4. Save ths settng by selectng "Apply", see page 11. 5.11.1 Alternatve WLAN connecton wth WPS You can also connect the IP Camera drectly to the WLAN router or to your local rado network by means of the WPS functon. Prerequstes to connecton WLAN va WPS The WPS functon must be supported by your router. 1. Brefly press the WPS button on the IP Camera. For ths, use a thn but not too ponted object. WPS key 2. Subsequently actvate the WPS functon n your router. After ths, the IP Camera s connected to the WLAN router or to the local rado network. 22

6. Close settngs 1. At the top of the screen, clck on the "Logout" button. 2. Remove the LAN cable from the IP Camera and the HomePlot f you wsh to use the WLAN connecton. 3. The confguraton of the IP Camera settngs s now complete. Automatc WLAN search after nterruptng the power supply. For further nstallaton of the IP Camera, the power supply may be brefly nterrupted. As soon as the power s connected agan, the IP Camera wll automatcally search for the prevously regstered WLAN rado network. 23
