II. UPDATING & ADDING TO YOUR PROFILE WE NEEED YOU! The only way for us to collectively tap the knowledge and resources of the ALI Coalition is for you to help by filling out your profile. While the ALI Team has input a large amount of information, this initial work is a starting point. You are in control of your profile. Help us to more fully unlock the talent, experience, and goodwill of the ALI Coalition to all of our members. Increase Coalition impact and connectedness. Take 10 minutes to fill out your profile! If you need how-to help beyond these slides, write to ALIcoalition@harvard.edu. Click on Welcome, [your name]! and then select Update My Profile from the pop-up menu.
Be sure to fill out these key fields. Doing so will enable ALI Coalition members to find you based on your expertise and experience.
Select up to three areas of expertise from the pop-up list. Select any region(s) of geographic expertise.
Enter your bio. Cut/paste your brief existing bio here. Note: the Directory includes a keyword search for this bio field. To expand the size of this box for viewing, pull from the corner.
Verify, edit, and add to your contact information. Indicate your primary phone number here. Specify Show or Hide using the toggle buttons. Note: If you choose to Hide, the related information will not display for other Coalition Members to see in your profile.
Click here to add a new address. Click on the eye or pencil icons to view full address information for this address entry. Click here to save your edits to this address. Click here to determine how much of this address information you want to display for other Coalition members to see.
Enter the full name of ALI Partner or ALI Fellow who participated with you, if applicable. These are key fields to fill out. They will enable other ALI Coalition members to understand your post-fellowship social impact focus, interests, work, and what you are passionate about. Fields in grey are updated by ALI Team.
Select your focus area(s) for social impact from the drop-down list. Selecting relevant areas will enable others to easily find shared area(s) of interest with you. Please think carefully about your focus areas and avoid marking every checkbox.

III. SEARCHING THE ALI COALITION DIRECTORY Click on ALI Coalition Directory on the navigation bar of any screen to go to the Directory search page.
Explore! Search for ALI Coalition members using multiple criteria. After updating your own profile, verify that other Coalition members will find you based on searches of your areas of interest, expertise, and experience. Search by name. All ALI Fellows and Partners from 2009-2016 are in the Directory. All cohorts, 2009-2016, are searchable. Multi-year searches are possible, for example: 2014-2015 Individual records exist for each Fellow and each Partner. The amount of existing information in the Directory varies. Senior Fellows, 2010-2016, are searchable. Focus Areas for Social Impact categories are searchable. Existing information is based on May 2016 Coalition survey. Search for existing ALI Case Studies and Videos. Try searching for ALI Cases or Videos in a specific Focus Area for Social Impact by selecting the focus area from the drop-down and then checking a check box for Case or Video. Information for Areas of professional expertise comes from May 2016 ALI Coalition survey results for 2009-2015. This search will be of value after ALI Coalition members complete this information in their profiles. Search for keywords within bios. We have included ALI bios for 2016 Fellows only. Please add your bio! We have included some information for Fellows with public LinkedIn profiles. Please add to existing information. We have included some information for Fellows from public LinkedIn profiles. Please add to existing information. We have included address information for Fellows and Partners. This information is currently displayed at the city, state, and country levels. It does not display street-level data. ALI Coalition Members can choose what level of contact information they wish to display.
