Click Login link on the top menu 2. Enter your directory id and pw. 3. If you logged in for the first time, follow the instructions below. Otherwise, you can skip to Step 4. a. For the first login, click on Edit button

2 b. Student should enter Name field first c. Below the Name field, check the checkbox if you want to get e mail notifications for comments from faculty. d. Click Save at the bottom e. Click on Student Profile tab f. You need to select Title which is required. It is not required to upload your photo but your profile will now be showing in the front page until you upload one.

3 g. Put contents in other fields which will be showing on Profile page, but not required. 4. Once you successfully logged in, you are directed to your profile page where you can edit your personal information. On the top of the page you will see the menu bar as shown below: HOME: MY PROFILE: MY PAGES: MY ARTIFACTS: Click on HOME will take you back to the website s home page Click on MY PROFILE will take you to your profile page. The Profile page is titled with About and with the menu About. See My Profile section on details on how to edit your profile page. Click on MY PAGES will let you create new pages and edit existing pages. See My Pages section for details on how to manage your pages. Click on MY ARTIFACTS will take you to your list of artifacts. The site currently supports four types of artifacts: video, photo, document, and audio. See My Artifacts section for details on how to manage your artifacts. My Profile This menu option allows you to view and edit your biography information.

4 How to edit the Profile Page * Caution: Do not copy contents directly from MS document since there can be unnecessary tags accompanied. If you copy from MS document, copy it to Notepad first, and then copy the content one more time from the notepad to paste on the site: this can remove unnecessary tags. 1. There are a few ways to get to your Profile Page: 1). by clicking on MY PROFILE on the top menu if you are not already at the page; 2) by clicking on About menu on the left hand side. 2. Click on the Edit tab under the title About if you are not already in editing mode. 3. Enter your changes. <Account tab> address: you cannot change this field since it is associated with university information. Current password: you cannot change your password here. If you want to, you need to go to University s directory ID management site. Name: You need to put your correct name. <Student Profile tab> Title: You can select among the programs of TDPS Photo: You can upload your photo here and it will be your profile photo in this site. Bio: Your biography information. Teaching Philosophy Teaching Artist Statement Enter URL to your personal blog Enter URL to your personal websites 4. Click Save button at the bottom of the page. My Pages This menu option allows you to create, edit, and delete your own pages to represent your work. * Caution: Do not copy contents directly from MS document since there can be unnecessary tags accompanied. Click MY PAGES on the top menu. 2. If you haven t created any pages, you will see the following texts.

5 Click on here link to create your first page. 3. If you have pages already, you will see the yellow button Create a new page and a list of your pages. Click on the Create a new page button and you will be directed to Create Basic Page page. 4. Enter title and the body texts. 5. Click Save on the bottom of the page. 6. A menu with the title of your page will be added to your side menu. The menu is linked to the page you just created. How to edit/delete existing pages 1. Click on MY PAGES on the top menu. 2. Click on the title of the page you want to edit. 3. Click on the Edit tab. 4. Update the page contents. 5. Click Save if you like to save the page, click Delete if you like to delete the page. How to change the order of menus Whenever a new page is created, a menu is automatically created with the title of the page and inserted into the menu on the left hand side. If you would like to change the menu order, follow these steps: 1. Click Edit this menu on the left hand side menu.

6 2. You will see the list of menus you currently have: You can change the order by dragging the menu items. The cursor changes to symbol means you are able to drag. 3. When you re done, click Save configuration button How to edit menus To change the name of an existing menu, follow these steps: 1. Click Edit this menu on the left hand side menu. 2. You will see the list of menu links you currently have. Click on the edit link for the menu you wish to edit. 3. Edit menu link page will display next:

7 Make your changes. Menu Link title: This is the label that will show up in your page list. You can modify each page s title if needed. Path: This field is used when external link is needed.if you are editing menus that come from your own pages, you don t have to worry about this. External link menu can be added by clicking Add menu button in the Edit this menu page. Description: (optional) If you put any explanations about a menu, this text will show up when you hover the menu item. Enabled: If you want to hide the menu from the list, uncheck this box. Show as expanded: You don t have to worry about this item since there s no child menus. Weight: This determines the order of menu items. You don t have to worry about this field since you can drag your menu items to change orders. 4. When you re done, click Save My Artifacts How to create a new artifact 1. Click MY ARTIFACTS in the top level menu. 2. If you haven t created any artifact, you will see the following texts: You have not uploaded any artifacts yet. Upload your first here! After you are done, you can display it in one of your custom pages Click on here link to create your first artifact. 3. If you already have artifacts, you will see the Add a new artifact button. Click on the button. 4. You will be taken to the Create Artifact page next. You will be able to enter the following information: Title

8 Artifact File: lets you update artifact file. See How to upload file for an artifact section for details. Description Choreography Performance Teaching Portfolio Privacy: required field. Control the access level of the artifact. i. Select Public option if you want to show it to the public. ii. Select Under Assessment option if you want to show it only to professors. iii. Select Private option if you do not want to show it to anybody. Type: required field. It specifies the type of the artifact, used to separate the artifacts into groups. i. Video ii. Photo iii. Document iv. Audio 5. Click Save to save your changes. How to upload file for an artifact 1. In the Create Artifact page, click on the Select media button 2. The following window pops up: 3. You can upload photo or audio in the Upload tab. 4. If you want to link any video, click on the Web tab. 5. To view what you have already uploaded to the system, click on MY FILES. 6. Click Submit after uploading files or entering URL. Site Building Making a link to artifacts in a page 1. Go to the page you want to edit (Test page here is for example).

9 2. Click Edit in the tab. 3. Click on the + icon at the end of the tool bar for the Body field. 4. Your Public artifacts are listed in a popup window. 5. Select one of your artifacts. 6. Click Insert 7. You can see the link to the artifact in the Body. 8. Click Save * Currently the system can only display links to artifacts on the page. Embed photo or video directly onto a page 1. Go to the page you want to edit. 2. Click Edit in the tab. 3. In the toolbox of the Body window, there is Add media icon. Click it. 4. A popup window shows up. 5. If you want to put one of your artifacts, go to MY FILES tab. You will be able to find one that are in artifacts. 6. If you want to upload from your computer, click Choose Files to navigate your PC and Upload button. Then, click Next button. 7. If you want to embed video from Vimeo, go to WEB tab.

10 8. After editing other information, click Save at the bottom.
