Connecting the Document Cmer Directly to Projector 18 You cn connect the document cmer directly to imge devices, such s projector or externl monitor, using computer cble or HDMI cble. the document cmer re output from the projector. Only udio from the SD crd is output. You cn lso connect the document cmer to projector through computer. s "Connecting to Projector Using Computer" p.20 Connecting Using Computer Cble (Supplied) Connect the Disply Out port on the document cmer to projector using the computer cble. Imges (live or on n SD crd) from the document cmer re output from the projector. Audio is not output. When imge devices tht support the HDMI CEC stndrd re connected to the document cmer, opertions for the document cmer nd the imge device cn be linked together. Set HDMI Link on the document cmer. s Function - HDMI Link p.41 For necessry settings on the imge device, see the documenttion provided with the device. When Using Computer Connecting Using n HDMI Cble When the Computer In port on the document cmer is connected to computer using computer cble, you cn project PowerPoint slides or imges from ny other ppliction from projector. Connect the HDMI port on the document cmer to projector using n HDMI cble (commercilly vilble). Imges (live or on n SD crd) from

Connecting the Document Cmer Directly to Projector 19 This connection method is only vilble when the document cmer is connected to computer using computer cble. If the computer you re using does not hve VGA output port, connect the computer directly to the projector. Imges on the computer connected to the document cmer re only output from the Disply Out port. You cn switch the projected imge between [ ] or [ ] using the [Source] button on the document cmer or the remote control. [ ]: Projects imges from computer. [ ]: Projects imges (live or on n SD crd) from the document cmer.

Connecting to Projector Using Computer 20 When the document cmer is connected to computer using USB cble, you cn operte the document cmer from the computer. Using the softwre supplied, you cn sve imges nd video, djust picture qulity, zoom, nd so on. s "Using the Computer Softwre" p.44 Connect the USB-B port on the document cmer to computer using USB cble. Next, connect the computer to the projector. The cble used to crete the connection differs depending on the computer nd projector you re using. See the documenttion provided with the computer nd projector you re using. You cnnot project imges by directly connecting the document cmer to projector with USB cble. Connect the document cmer to USB 2.0 port of computer. If you connect it to USB 3.0 port, it my not function properly. Do not connect multiple document cmers to one computer t the sme time.

Projecting

Positioning the Document Cmer 22 Rise the cmer rm with one hnd while holding the bse of the cmer with your other hnd. b Rotte the cmer rm s shown. Attention Do not try to press the rm flt or fold it bckwrds. Otherwise, the document cmer my be dmged. The cmer rm cn only rotte within the rnge shown below. c Position the cmer hed bove the projection re.

Plugging In nd Turning On 23 Connect the document cmer to the projector with cble before turning on the document cmer. s "Connecting" p.17 Connect the power cord s shown nd plug the cord into wll outlet. d Select the pproprite source on the projector depending on the port to which you connected. Live imges from the document cmer re projected from the projector. b Press the [t] power button on the document cmer or remote control. The power indictor flshes blue. Projecting 27 Projecting Through Microscope Projected imge b Press the [Focus] button on the document cmer or the [Auto Focus] button on the remote control. To disply objects s seen through microscope, use the included microscope dpter. Before instlling the document cmer, mke the following settings: - Focus the microscope nd djust the zoom - Press the [Menu] button, nd then select Imge > Microscope > On. Problems nd Solutions 51 Imges must be DCF-complint, JPEG files to be displyed, such s from digitl cmer. Do not edit the imges, s this my chnge their formt nd prevent them from being displyed. Imges must be nmed using the formt ABCD1234.JPG, where ABCD is ny combintion of upper- or lowercse letters nd 1234 is ny combintion of numbers.
