Download and Installation BYOD Foundation Service User Guide v1.5 Tips: Please make sure that the Internet connection of your mobile device is in good condition. You could try to visit www.lenovo.com to check if the network works well. If it s opened successfully, then you could begin to download and install. Please input URL in the browser of your device: http://byod.lenovo.com Also, you could scan below QR to access Tips: Please use other scan tool beside WeChat, since it will block this URL. You can see the Terms and Conditions of service. Please check I have read & agree above Terms and click Start From Here to continue. Page 3 of 15
You will meet the enrollment page as below, please click Continue. BYOD Foundation Service User Guide v1.5 Input your ITcode & password in Authentication page, then click Continue. Page 4 of 15
Accept the agreement to continue. In step 3 page, please continue to download & install Profile. Please follow the tip to install the profiles in your device. Page 5 of 15
In the last step of installation, please click Install to start to download & install the client automatically When you meet below page, please go back to home screen, you will find the related clients are installing. Two apps will be installed, one is the main client, and other is secure browser. Also, here s a Corporate Store for you to download corporate applications. Page 6 of 15
Activation When you first run after installation, the activation configuration will be completed automatically, please wait for a while. You will meet a notification about permission. You could choose any as you prefer. Set PIN code. Please enter a six digit passcode and confirm it. Tips: The Passcode with simple (ascending, descending or repeating, like 111111, 123456) patterns are not admitted. Page 7 of 15
You will see the homepage once you complete the PIN setting. Page 8 of 15
Forget PIN code? In case, you don t remember the PIN you set, you could reset it by yourself. Click the Forgot PIN button; enter the Password of your ITcode. If the authentication is successful, you could reset your PIN code again. BYOD Foundation Service User Guide v1.5 Page 9 of 15
Function Introduction BYOD Foundation Service User Guide v1.5 You could use every app by click icons on the homepage. The brief introduction about use these apps will be showing in the following sections. 1. Email Click the icon of Email to start it, enter your password and click Configure button on the page of configuring email account. Page 10 of 15
The page will prompt that it is syncing, later, you will see the mail list of inbox, click any one mail to view details. You could draft a new mail by click icon of composing a mail on the bottom left in the page. Page 11 of 15
You can also set Email as you need, please click Settings in the homepage and then click Email to enter the detail settings page. In the detail settings page, you could set some options for your demand, such as the Inbox check frequency, Days to sync, etc. Page 12 of 15
2. Calendar BYOD Foundation Service User Guide v1.5 Click the icon of Calendar to start it; you can click the view button to view your Agenda by Day or Month. 3. Contacts Click the icon of Contacts to start it. You could view the existing contacts details; meanwhile, you could search the contact in corporate directory, create new contacts or import contacts as you like. Page 13 of 15
4. Browser You can not only browse the internet web page but also connect to Lenovo intranet securely without VPN, view internal documents, and login internal systems and applications from Internet. Click the icon of Browser to start it, the initial configuration will be automatically completed, please wait a moment. After the configuration, click the "Menu" of your ios device, select "Bookmarks" to view the bookmarks list, you can select any one to access. Page 14 of 15
