Overview: Microsoft Intune Company Portal is used to register your device and to manage security compliance, so you can use mail and calendar on your mobile device. Once the setup is complete, you don t need to use the company portal but you can t delete it. This solution works on all iphones and ipads, whether they are issued by Codan or are personal. It should also work on most Android devices, but there is no guarantee. The security policy requires your phone to have a 6 digit PIN code, that is no older than 90 days. Go to App store, search for Intune and download the app. Open the app, type your mail address, and you will be redirected to the RSA login site. Password is the same you use for Windows 3
Intune Company portal will configure your access to RSA Scandi apps and other resources. Press Start. Information about why you should enroll your device. Press continue. 4
Information about what IT can see on your device, and what they can t. Press continue. Information about next step. Press Sign up. 5
Your iphone will now ask you to install a certificate. Press install. Write the PIN code for your phone (if you have one). If it s less than 6 digits and older 6
Confirm to install. Installing Intune company portal will allow your IT administrator to remotely setup or remove mail accounts, group policies and delete iphone data in case of theft. Press install. 7
Confirm the installation. The certificate is now installed. Press OK. 8
You will now be redirected to a website, and prompted to open the site in the app Company portal. Press Open. Your device is now enrolled, and Intune has to check if the settings on your iphone is compatible with RSA Scandi policies. Press Continue. 9
Intune will now prompt you to install various Microsoft apps, if you do not already have them installed. Go ahead and install them all. Once you have pressed install for all the apps, press Continue again. 10
Intune will now control your iphone compatibility. This can take a while, but you don t have to keep the app open. Check back in after a few minutes. If the control is successful, you will get a message saying so. Press ok. 11
If your phones PIN code is shorter than 6 characters OR is older than 90 days, it will need to be changed. This will likely be the reason for the pop-up shown below. A message like the one below will pop up every minute on your screen until you change the PIN. Press Continue and create a new PIN (minimum 6 characters). 12
When the compatibility control is successfully complete, your iphone should now be set up to use the native mail and calendar apps with your RSA Scandi mail. When opening the mail app you will be prompted to enter your password the first time. [Document Author] 13
Known issues and solutions 1. Compatibility control fails. 2. Compatibility control succeeds, but opening the mail app shows the message of Can not connect and the inbox is empty. 3. Users with other mail addresses than @codan.dk, @trygghansa.se or @codanforsikring.no can t login to Intune. 14
