1 Mortenson Office 365 Takes minutes Changing Your Network Password Changing your password on every device, including your desktop, laptop or desktop terminal locally and within Citrix is of utmost importance. The instructions below outline in order how to change your password on each device. Order being: Desktop, Laptop, or Desktop Terminal Locally Desktop, Laptop or Desktop Terminal within Citrix All Mobile Device Applications within the Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and OWA. Ideally when changing your password you would be on the Mortenson cabled or wireless network. 2 Section 1: How to Change your Network Password on your Desktop/Laptop/Desktop Terminal locally 1. If you are logged into Citrix, click Start Logoff 2. From your local computer, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete 3. Click Change a password 4. Enter old password, new password and confirm new password as shown below 5. Click on arrow as shown by red arrow 6. You will obtain a password change confirmation-click OK 7. Click Start Logoff 8. NOTE***** It is important you log off your computer. It is best to do this RIGHT AWAY. Please complete section 2 right after this and any other sections if you have other devices. 9. Log back onto your computer with your new password and start a Citrix session. Citrix will automatically pick up your new password. Now on to Section 2.

3 Section 2: Outlook within Citrix CLOSE OUT OF LYNC, WHICH WILL AUTOMATICALLY START, WHEN IT HAS FINISHED LOADING. 1. Within Citrix Click Start Control Panel 2. Type in Credential Manager in the top right corner

4 3. Open Credential Manager 4. Click on your profile under Generic Credentials 5. Click on Edit 6. Please make sure YOUR FULL address is filled in to the user name field. Example and NOT just your userid

5 Example Below: 7. Change your password to reflect the new password and click Save 8. Then use Start/ Log off to save your changes. 9. We are almost finished with this portion. Read on to save your new password in Outlook within Citrix. Save Password in Outlook In your Citrix session 1. Log into Outlook by going to Start and searching for Outlook. Yes you can use your shortcut if you have one.

6 2. Some end users will receive this pop-up. Please enter your full credentials. Use your full address and new password. Example below: 3. Then click the box that says, Remember my credentials. 4. Click OK 5. Completely log out of your Citrix session then log back in.

7 Section 3 iphone Your new password will have to be entered on all mobile devices. After you have changed your password, you MIGHT see the message below right away, within a few hours OR you might not see this message at all. You need to complete the steps below regardless. If this message pops up after you have completed the steps below, you will need to complete them again. 1. On your IPhone, select your Settings application - scroll down and tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars 2. Tap Exchange ActiveSync 3. Tap your account

8 4. Change password to your new password and click Done Section 4 Android 1. Open up your Settings application - scroll down and click on Settings 2. Select Account settings for you Mortenson address 3. Select the Exchange ActiveSync account that has your Mortenson 4. Click on Password to update your password

9 5. Type in your new password and click OK.

10 Section 5 ipad Changing the password for your default client 1. From the home screen, tap settings 2. On the settings column, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Then select Exchange ActiveSync.

11 3. Tap the arrow on the Account bar 4. Enter your new password. Tap Done. 5. If entered correctly, Verifying will briefly be displayed and the dialog box will close.

12 Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OWA, Lync) The process is similar for all applications within the Microsoft Office Suite. We utilize Excel as an example: 1. On the home screen, go to Settings 2. On the settings column, tap Excel. Then tap Reset Excel. (The settings column is where you will find links for Word and PowerPoint, OneNote and OWA)

13 3. Move the sliders for Clear Document Cache and Delete Login Credentials to the right. 4. On the settings column, tap OWA. Move the radio button to the right next to Reset Application. Changing the password for Lync 5. Go to the home screen and then locate Lync Tap the icon for Lync.

14 6. Tap the icon with two green circular arrows. Tap the box next to your name. 7. Enter your new password on the login screen. Tap Sign In. Changing the password for OneDrive 8. Go to the home screen. Tap the icon for OneDrive.

15 9. In the lower right-hand corner, tap the Gear symbol. Enter your new password. Then tap Sign Out. Upon re-opening your Microsoft Office Suite applications you will be prompted to log in similar to your initial launch. Word of caution your documents will all still be saved and available.
