Certification Exam Information: Upon completion of this class students desiring to take the CompTIA A+ Certification exams should be prepared to successfully pass the current A+ exams. Certification exams must be scheduled, paid for, and taken at an official CompTIA Certification Exam Center. Further information about where to take the certification exam will be provided. In addition to this class I suggest you review additional A+ Certification exam study material to include web-based materials, study guides, sample practice question guides, additional reference material, and the CompTIA web site prior to taking the exams. Orientation Quiz: In order for me to determine that you are correctly enrolled in this class, are active in Canvas, and are familiar with class policies and procedures you are required to take an Orientation Quiz by 11:00 pm Wednesday of the first week of class. See Canvas Announcements and the 1 st week of the class schedule below for further information. The Orientation Quiz is contained in the Week 01 link of the Modules menu item on the class Canvas site. Failure to take this quiz by the due date will result in you being dropped from the class. Graded Events: This class consists of assignments and graded events contained in Canvas and LabSim PC Pro. These events must be completed according to the class schedule attached to the end of this syllabus. The PC Pro Grading Document is also attached to the end of this document and contains a list of all required and optional/not graded assignments for this class.
