A CADASTRAL SURVEYING solution for field and office Trimble Survey Manager software consists of 3 packages one for the office and two for field use supporting two different operating systems. All packages are specifically designed for the acquisition, processing, and display of precise real-time surveys. Due to its modular structure, the Trimble Survey Manager software is easily adapted to specific user requirements. In particular, its input and output formats can be customized, and the software can be integrated with other office software products. Using a universal interface driver, various hardware systems can be connected and operated. The Trimble Survey Manager Office software is a standalone program for postprocessing GPS and optical survey data recorded in the field. It operates on any PC running a Microsoft Windows (2000, or XP) operating system. The Trimble Survey Manager Field software runs on Windows CE and Pocket PC. This flexibility enables users to perform field operations on the platform that best suits their needs, including the rugged and advanced Trimble controllers. The Trimble Survey Manager for Tablet PC runs on Windows 2000 and Windows XP Tablet PC. Trimble Survey Manager for Tablet PC, which offers the same functionality as Trimble Survey Manager Field, allows customers to use a Notebook or a Tablet PC in the field. Additionally, it enables customers to collect GIS data with GPS and optical systems. A GIS data model can be created with Trimble Survey Manager for Tablet PC. This extension supports optical observations in Prism and Trimble DR (direct reflex) modes. It will also control an instrument that is in Robotic mode. Trimble Survey Manager Field running on a Trimble controller provides complete control over measurement sensors and field survey procedures.
