14 RD MP - EZ Flash Detector The RD-MP digital melting point apparatus is a robust device which will withstand heavy everyday use while providing excellent accuracy in melting temperature measurements. The RD-MP is a perfect choice for undergraduate chemistry or professional research labs, as well as for pharmaceutical and biotechnical companies. The RD-MP is a heated aluminum block -type melting point determination apparatus designed for standard capillaries. Three embedded platinum RTDs (resistance temperature detectors) are implemented to provide reliable and accurate measurements over a long service lifetime.
