1 Release Notes IP Server OVERVIEW This document contains information regarding our latest development update with IP Server 6.2 and VI Monitor Client available for download on Jan 28, Detailed instructions on how to use each feature is included in the Video Insight End User Guide. VI MONITOR Added a hide menus shortcut with keyboard shortcut F11 Added ability to zoom using mouse cursor while positioned on camera view Added ability to drag camera groups into View area Added ability to sort available cameras under Server setup page Improvements to on-screen PTZ controls in a multi camera view Added logging for client version number to system logs Ability to apply a camera template to multiple cameras Added camera multi-cast support - *See Revised End User Guide for prerequisites and setup* Added legacy audio playback support Added feature that allows two way audio for non administrator users 100+ bug fixes and improvements Development Known Issues: Audio is limited to single cameras playback and from stored AVI files. Clipping with audio is not supported in this version of VI Monitor. WEB CLIENT ActiveX v 8.0 includes bug fixes and playback improvements (Recommended for Internet Explorer 11+) Web client clipping improvements Camera search improvements Admin control improvements Access control integrations improvements Added door status and state to camera view (access control integrations) Added alarms and events to Event Notification section Development Known Issues : Rewind/Reverse playback is not supported in this version of Web Client.
