3 VIDEOSCOPE Straightforward application, unsurpassed image quality Endoscopes coupled with state-of-the-art CCD image technology provide crystal-clear, true-color images. Full-format images show the smallest details true to life, enabling KARL STORZ to offer a new image quality never previously thought possible. Based on more than 60 years of experience in the construction and design of optical components, the VIDEOSCOPES delivers bright, brillant and highresolution images. The function keys on the ergonomic handle are ideally suited for single-hand control. The manual 4-way deflection feature reacts directly to commands without backlash or jerking movements. Various interchangeable lenses with a locking mechanism guarantee a complete view of all inspection areas. A wide range of directions of view and depth of field is provided. The lenses are available in a range of working lengths ranging from 1 to 7.5 m as well as diameters from 3.8 to 8 mm. Special units can be obtained on request. The straightforward multipoint measuring system can be used with this VIDEOSCOPE. The working channel enables retrieval tools with diverse tips (magnets, hooks, grasping forceps or snares) to be inserted into the inspection area. The working tools can be accessed at the videoscope control body, saving significant time and money. 18 How it works Objective Measuring Item Distal End Laser Projector Target The Multipoint Measurement System uses a 3D laser system with 49 laser points which allows the camera in co-operation with the Software to detect the surface structure of the subject surface. The TECHNO PACK X Software algorithm analyses the position of each laser point and calculates a 3D Image of the surface and returns a high accuracy measurement result. 20 Validation Process The validation process is checking automatically the configuration between Videoscope Multipoint Measurement interchangeable tips Tips selection software file TECHNO PACK X unit The test conforms correct configuration of individual system components, which allows a correct measurement. The user gets information about the systems if they work correctly. If the result is negative the system automatically creates a failure code. This process is a unique function only offered from KARL STORZ The Validation process works only in connection to validation tool and TECHNO PACK X Software Version or higher.
